Tissington is an unspoilt village in the heart of Derbyshire's Peak District National Park.

Tissington is a beautifully unspoilt village in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village lies just off the A515 Buxton Road, 4 miles north of Ashbourne. The village clusters around the stunning Tissington Hall an early 17th Jacobean Mansion which is home to Sir Richard Fitzherbert and his family. Tissington village dates back to the Doomsday book of 1086 where it is mentioned as Tizinctun. There was probably settlement long before this date.

🎄 WE’RE PROUD TO SUPPORT THE DERBYSHIRE CHRISTMAS FAIR! ✨

We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Derbyshire Christmas Fair, returning to the beautiful Osmaston Park in Ashbourne on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October.

Set in a stunning marquee overlooking the estate’s picturesque lake, the Fair brings together a wonderful selection of stalls offering everything from fashion and accessories to homeware and delicious foodie treats, perfect for finding a few special Christmas gifts! 🎁

Even better, the event supports Parkinson’s UK, with last year’s Fair raising over £30,000 for the charity. ❤️

We’re proud to support an event that brings people together, celebrates independent businesses and raises money for such a worthwhile cause.

There’s a parrot party going on at Tissington Craft Corner …. The shops open 11am - 4pm Thursday - Sunday AND they have a great selection of workshops that you can book into if you visit their website EAZICRAFT
