🎃No pumpkin left behind! Help us to rid the streets of sad, rotting pumpkins this week by doing your bit to round them up and recycle them.

🪣If you can, cut up your pumpkin and put it inside your food waste caddy
🛍️For this week only, if your caddy's already full, pop the pumpkin in a regular-size carrier bag and leave it next to your food waste caddy. We'll only collect one bag per household and we won't collect oversized or very heavy pumpkins
🌱No weekly food waste collections on your street yet? Pop your pumpkin in your green bin

🎃How to :

✂️🎨Try decorating your pumpkin instead of carving - it'll stay fresh and buy you more time to cook with it
🔪If you carve, you can try to cut out as much of the flesh as possible to cook, refrigerate or freeze straight away
❄️If that sounds too hard, carve your pumpkin on the 31st and make sure you keep it fresh by popping it in the fridge before bed - don't leave it out overnight for the slugs! Cut it up and cook or freeze it within 2 days
🧁The stringy guts can be blitzed to use in soup or muffins, and the seeds toasted for a tasty snack
