Our latest project story shares how Kairos Women+ creates space for women to show up as they are – not just at crisis points, but any time.

It’s about trust.
About consistency.
About support that helps women heal, find room to thrive, and the confidence to rise.

These are the kinds of women-led organisations we’re proud to fund – rooted, local to need, and there for the long haul.

Women:

Girls:

Feisty:

Today we’re celebrating the power of words and the women and girls they try (and sometimes fail) to contain. Because *feisty* isn’t a flaw. It’s bold ideas. Brave voices. And the grit to keep going. Which word would you add to the list? 👇 And if you want to back trailblazers, sparks and changemakers all year round, you know where to find us.

17th January is the International Day of Mentoring and the team behind Women's Fund for Scotland and Feisty Gals would love to know:

Who mentored you?

Maybe it was a teacher, a colleague, a friend, or someone who quietly said “you’re not on your own here”.

The person who believed in you before you quite believed in yourself.
The one who listened.
The one who said “keep going”.

Women-led organisations create those moments every day – helping women heal, thrive and rise.

If you like the idea of more of that in the world, £10 a month helps keep those spaces open.

At the heart of The Crannie is something powerful and often overlooked: space.

Space to talk.
Space to be listened to.
Space to heal, begin to thrive, and gently rise.

Our latest project story shares how the Women’s Wellbeing Group has become one of the beating hearts of The Crannie – offering connection, confidence and calm in a world that rarely slows down for women.

This is what sustainable, women-led community support looks like when it’s trusted, rooted and properly resourced.

Thank you to the women who show up.
To the groups who keep going.
To the trustees who ask hard questions and give their time and talent
To the donors who back long-term change.

Thank you to the women holding communities together with skill, care and stubborn hope.
And thank you to everyone who believes women-led organisations deserve funding that actually works.

We’re grateful. We’re energised. We’re not done yet.

World Quitter's Day is the unofficial/official day when New Year's resolutions start to fade or be abandoned. Usually around the 2nd Friday of January.

Women's groups across Scotland can't quit - won't quit.

They wish they could quit burnout, short term funding and being in survival mode.

We're a small part of their funding puzzle - we could be a bigger part if we ourselves were bigger. Donate to us and help us fund the groups that can't quit.
