A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Community Market on Saturday.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to support local businesses, community groups and Queensferry Churches’ Care in the Community.

Thank you to all of the stallholders, volunteers Alan and June for stepping in while our usual volunteers were away, and visitors who helped make the event such a success. Events like these not only bring our community together but help raise awareness of the work we do supporting older people and those facing isolation across rural North West Edinburgh.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day and we look forward to welcoming you back to our next Community Market on 27th June.

Do you live in South Queensferry, Ratho, Ratho Station, Newbridge, Dalmeny or Kirkliston?

Our befriending service allows trained volunteers to visit older people who are living alone to offer companionship, a friendly ear and contact with the wider community. QCCC also offer a weekly telephone call to an older person.
