Battling 40°C heat in Spain to qualifying for the World Championships in Hamburg!! What a triathlon season for Charlotte 🙌

Representing Great Britain on the international stage requires incredible mental and physical toughness, and Halo Sport Foundation athlete Charlotte Godsall showed exactly what she’s made of this season!

Back in July, Charlotte travelled to Banyoles, Spain, for the European Middle Distance Triathlon Championships. Facing extreme conditions with temperatures soaring past 40°C, she conquered a 1.2-mile lake swim, a gruelling 56-mile hilly bike ride, and an 8-mile run, crossing the finish line in a staggering 5 hours 47 minutes!

Showing her incredible versatility, Charlotte then pivoted to the shorter, faster Sprint Distance Triathlon at Barry Island over Bank Holiday weekend. Finishing 5th in her age group, she earned her qualification to represent GB once again at the World Sprint Triathlon Championships in Hamburg next year! 🏆🎉

Unstoppable is an understatement! What a summer for Halo Sport Foundation athlete Charlie Coleman!

Charlie has spent his summer dominating triathlons, track events, and aquathlons across the country, compiling a stat sheet that speaks for itself:

Triathlon & Aquathlon Dominance:
🥇 1st Place Overall: Finished the Welsh Triathlon Series with a PERFECT score of 4,000 points!

🥇 Winner: Evesham Junior Triathlon & Builth 3K Aquathlon (for the second year running!).

🇬🇧 Represented Wales: Competed at the International Regional Championships (TriStar 3 category), finishing 7th in the UK and claiming the No. 1 spot in Wales!

👏 Top 10 finishes in both the Transition Challenge and Relay!

Track & Field Masterclass:
🌟 Selected to represent Herefordshire & Worcestershire at the English Schools Championships (one of only 24 athletes chosen!).

👑 West Midlands No. 1 in the 1,500m & winner of the Gloucester Open 1-mile race in a blistering 4:49!

☄️ Triple Club Record Holder: Holds Hereford & County Athletic Club records in the 1,500m, 800m, and shot put—breaking his own shot put record again at the County Championships with a massive 10.56m throw!

Now Charlie is setting his sights on cyclocross and cross-country season. We are immensely proud of you, Charlie! Keep smashing those records!

🎡 Ledbury Mop Fair Travel & Access Notice 🏊‍♂️

Heading to Ledbury Swimming Pool on Monday 12th or Tuesday 13th October?

Please be aware that the annual Ledbury Mop Fair will be taking place in the town centre.

What you need to know:

🚗 Restricted Access: Access to the pool and surrounding roads will be restricted from 4:00 PM onwards on both days.

⏰ Plan Ahead: Traffic in town will be busier than usual. Please allow plenty of extra time for your journey.

🚶 Travel Advice: We strongly encourage members and visitors to walk or travel on foot where possible.
