Crews from Ledbury Fire Station recently headed over to a Training Facility for a day of realistic, hands-on training, working alongside colleagues from Upton Upon Severn Fire Station and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
The day involved a range of challenging scenarios, including:
🔥 Car fires and house fires with persons reported
🚗 Road traffic collisions
🪜 House fire rescues involving ladders
👨🚒 Multi-agency house fire scenarios involving multiple breathing apparatus (BA) crews, ladder rescues and a car fire outside.
The exercises provided a valuable opportunity to develop our skills, practise working together across stations and services, and prepare for the variety of incidents we may face on the frontline.
It was also a fantastic opportunity for our development firefighters to put their learning into practice and gain valuable experience towards their firefighter development programme👨🚒👏
A big thank you to everyone involved in organising and delivering the training!
