What’s Upcoming Next Week (8-12 June) ☀️

💚 Stay & Play Drop-in Monday & Friday, 9:30am - 11:30am and Thursday, 1 - 3pm. A fun session for children 0 - 4 years to play, explore and socialise. Includes snack and circle time.

👶 Tiny Tots Drop-in, Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30am - 11:30am.
A gentle and welcoming sensory session for newborns to pre-walkers. A great chance to meet other local families.

👣 Tots Together Drop-in, Wednesday, 9:30am - 11:30am.
A welcoming session for children 12 - 24 months and their grown-ups to play, explore and connect with other local families.

🚒 Fire Station Visit – Friday 26th June 🚒

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to let you know that we will be visiting the local Fire Station on Thursday 26th June.

⭐ Stay & Play will run as usual from 9:30am.
⭐ We will leave the Children’s Centre together at 10:45am and head to the Fire Station.
⭐ The visit will begin at 11:00am.

Please ensure you arrive at the Children’s Centre in time to join us before we leave. We will be travelling together as a group.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about firefighters, fire safety, and see a real fire engine up close!

Come and explore the nursery, meet the team, and see how joyful learning is supported for young children. Register your little one(s) too!

Bags of Taste is offering a free two-week home-based cooking course, with all ingredients provided free of charge. The course is flexible, can be completed from home, and all you need is a kitchen and a phone.

🌞 Well Street Common Festival 🌞

Dear Parents and Carers,

The Well Street Common Festival is taking place on Sunday 14 June from 12pm–6pm. This free family event will include live music, DJs, a dog show, children’s activities, sports, stalls, a BBQ and tea tent, a raffle, and much more.

Do you have a baby under 12 months old? Join our friendly Mini Movers session tomorrow, led by physiotherapists from Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Hackney Ark and Wentworth Nursery School and Children’s Centre.

🕤 9:30am – 10:30am

This *free* session is designed for Hackney parents and babies under 12 months and offers:
✨ Support with your baby’s early physical development
✨ Advice from specialist physiotherapists
✨ Answers to your questions about development
✨ Tips to encourage rolling, sitting, crawling and walking

Mini Movers helps babies build strong neck and shoulder muscles and develop important gross motor skills in a fun and supportive environment.
