Known for his hard-working attitude and great sense of humour, Damien brings positive energy to every shift. His drive, dedication, and supportive nature make him an essential part of the Chingford Leisure Centre team.

If you’ve spent time at our centre, chances are you’ve seen Dougal hard at work.

As one of our Duty Managers, Dougal is always on hand to help, support the team, and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From keeping the pool operating safely and efficiently to helping customers and colleagues alike, no task is ever too big or too small.

Known for his professionalism, kindness, and calm approach, Dougal is someone our team and members can always rely on. His dedication and willingness to go the extra mile help make our centre the welcoming place it is today.

Meet Tomasz, our General Manager – the driving force behind our centre 💪🏻

Every great centre needs someone holding it all together, and for us, that’s Tomasz.

As our General Manager, he’s the steady hand behind the day-to-day operations, the first to offer support, and the last to stop until the job is done. Whether it’s helping a colleague, supporting a member, or finding solutions to challenges, Tomasz always goes the extra mile.

While he’s not always the one in the spotlight, he’s the person working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything runs exactly as it should.

From supporting our team to helping our members and solving challenges before most people even know they exist, Tomasz is the definition of going above and beyond.

His passion, commitment, and leadership are a huge reason our centre is the place it is today.

🌟 **Swimmer Spotlight: Darby** 🌟

A huge congratulations to Darby on an absolutely fantastic achievement during our Half Term Crash Course at Chingford Leisure Centre! 🏊‍♂️👏

Over just 4 days, Darby has made incredible progress, going from requiring full support in the water to swimming independently with no support at all! His determination, confidence, and willingness to challenge himself have been amazing to watch.

This kind of progress doesn’t happen by chance – it’s the result of hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude every single day. We couldn’t be prouder of what Darby has achieved this week.

Well done, Darby! Keep believing in yourself and enjoying your swimming journey – the future is looking very bright! 🌊⭐

🌟 **PART 2 – More Half Term Crash Course Highlights!** 🌟

What an incredible week it has been at our Half Term Crash Course at Chingford Leisure Centre! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

These photos capture just some of the fantastic achievements, smiles, and confidence shown by our swimmers throughout the course. From building water confidence to refining swimming techniques and earning their certificates, every child gave their best effort and made us incredibly proud.

A huge well done to all of our swimmers for their hard work, positive attitudes, and determination. It has been amazing to see the progress made both in and out of the water over the week.

Georgina and Daniel would like to thank everyone for making the course such a success. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to see you back in the pool soon! 💙👏

Over the week, every student showed fantastic effort, determination, and confidence in the water. It has been incredible to watch them develop their swimming skills, overcome challenges, and achieve so much in such a short space of time.

We are so proud of every single swimmer and all the progress they have made. A big well done from Georgina and Daniel – you should all be very proud of yourselves! 👏🏅
