Following recent elections, the RAF LGBTQ+ Network is proud to welcome our new Co-Chairs:

We’re excited for what’s ahead as they lead the Network into its next chapter - building on the incredible work already done and continuing to champion our community across the RAF.

What a wonderful night!

With beautiful food and inspirational speeches we reflected on the busy year we’ve had. A promise was made to keep this hard work going and for the energy to not waver.

We also say Good bye to our Heads of the Network and wish good luck to those stepping into their position. The voting is currently live so make sure you have your say!

Our annual dining event 2026 will be taking place on Sat 7 Feb. This event is currently sold out however if you are interested in being added to the waiting list, please drop us a message.

Today marks the 26th Anniversary of the Lifting of the Ban for LGBT Serving Openly in the UK Armed Forces.

We pay tribute to those dedicated campaigners, Rank Outsiders, and the ECHR Four for their efforts during the 1990s which led to the lifting of the ban.

We are incredibly proud to share that the RAF had 9 outstanding finalists at this year’s LGBTQ+ Defence awards — and we’re thrilled that 3 of them took home top honours! 🏆✈️

It was a fabulous evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration. We’d like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to all finalists and winners across Defence who are driving positive change and championing inclusion.
