Join us for Drowning Prevention Week as we raise awareness about water safety and help keep our community safe around water.

๐Ÿ“… Starting Saturday 13th June!

Throughout the week, weโ€™ll be running a range of fun and educational activities during our swimming lessons, including:

โœ… Water safety tips for all ages
โœ… Poolside demonstrations
โœ… Fun and educational activities
โœ… Opportunities to speak with our trained lifeguards and swim teachers

Itโ€™s Dementia Action Week from 18-24 May, when The Alzheimer's Society raises awareness of dementia, the UK's biggest killer. Find out more at their website.

Did you know that our leisure team have staff trained as Dementia Champions? They help to provide a dementia-friendly environment and support people with dementia to stay active.

We have produced a video outlining the benefits of exercise on preventing the onset of dementia and of helping people with dementia.
