Cuppas are spilling across Perthshire, chats are echoing to new places!

Cuppas & Chats is now in 3 locations throughout the month, with Perth's being the first Wednesday of the month from 2pm - 3pm, at Perth Theatre Café.

Following this, we have new events at Birnam Arts on the second Wednesday from 2pm, and at Pitlochry Festival Theatre from 11am on the third Wednesday

Tonight, Monday 1 June, Perth Bridge and St Paul’s Church will shine in the vibrant colours of the rainbow to mark the beginning of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. 🌈

Every June, we come together to celebrate diversity and inclusion in our communities.

Their time, efforts and commitment really does make an impact on LGBTQ+ people across Perth and Kinross, and sometimes even stretching further

An all new workshop from Rock 'n' Crafts - Perthshire's Q***r Crafting Group, in collaboration with Birnam Arts!

Join the crew on Saturday 20th June for their Scrapbooking Social - a crafty and hands-on session creating pieces close to heart, and you can truly call your own! Whether you are an avid scrapbooker or if it's your first time, this is a perfect opportunity to meet new people and get involved in the crafts at the same time!

Our Rock 'n' Crafts - Perthshire's Q***r Crafting Group have had a fantastic time at AK Bell Library for their Sewing Taster workshops between March and May

From the beginnings and learning of how to use the machine and all the various techniques, they have been able to produce many of their own designs and styles along the way

Perthshire Pride have launched their new "Safe Place" stickers campaign, recognising local businesses, community spaces and organisations that are LGBTQ+ friendly

With the support from Perth and Kinross Council, ourselves and local LGBTQ+ groups, we truly hope the awareness raised in this new campaign will bring down hate crimes and incidents, making Perth and Kinross a safe and welcoming place for people to be their true selves

✨ Launching Today Perthshire Pride New ‘Safe Place’ Stickers ✨🌈

Today, on , we’re proud to share something meaningful we’ve been working on with Perth and Kinross Council, a small symbol with a big purpose.

We’re introducing our brand‑new ‘Safe Place’ rainbow stickers, created to highlight local businesses and venues where LGBT+ people can feel welcomed, respected and safe in everyday life.

From today, we’ll begin reaching out to businesses across Perth and Kinross to invite them to take part. These stickers may be simple, but the message behind them is powerful:
You belong here. You’re supported. You’re safe.

As a community‑led organisation, we know how important visible support can be. Creating safe spaces isn’t just about buildings, it’s about people, kindness, and knowing you’re not alone.

Councillor Peter Barrett, Equalities Lead for Perth & Kinross Council, shared:

“We’re pleased to support Perthshire Pride with this initiative to help members of the LGBT+ community know where the ‘Safe Places’ are locally. Partnership working with organisations like Perthshire Pride and Rainbow Heartlands LGBT+ Perth and Kinross is a key part of our commitment to equality and fairness.”
