Between the hours of 9pm and 10pm on Sunday 1st November 2026, a number of vehicles were damaged in the vicinity of Colville Gardens, Alloa.

Police are looking to speak with a male observed in the area at that time - he is described as a white male, 5ft 8 wearing a navy blue / red adidas tracksuit

Police in Falkirk are looking to trace the owner of this female Pomeranian dog. It was found today on Bonnyside Road, High Bonnybridge.

Unfortunately it has no chip or collar.

Police in Grangemouth are appealing for information following the theft of a purple Audi TT from Abbots Road, Grangemouth.

The vehicle was stolen sometime around 9:50 PM on Monday 26th October 2026.

We are asking residents and neighbours in the surrounding area to please check any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage captured around these times.

Yesterday, Stirling Community Officers attended RAC’s Intel briefing alongside various local city centre retailers and GoForth Stirling. We provided some information about the Community team and our commitment to tackling retail crime in partnership with RAC’s and the BID.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an assault in Stirling.

The incident happened around 10.25pm on Thursday, 22 October, 2026, on Glasgow Road.

The man is due to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court on Monday, 26 October, 2026.

The Met Office has issued an Amber weather warning for all of the Scottish mainland and islands off the west coast.

⚠️ This warning is in place from 9pm on Saturday 24 October, 2026, until 9pm on Sunday, 25 October.

A yellow wind warning is also in place covering the same area, also including Orkney, from 12pm on Saturday, 24 October.

In support of Operation Overlap, which is a national week of action focusing on the illegal and antisocial use of e-bikes and e-scooters, community officers across Forth Valley have been conducting additional patrols in areas of concern.

On Tuesday 20, October 2026, a 19-year-old male was charged with riding an e-bike on Southfield Drive, Slamannan without insurance and a driving licence.

Two days later, a 25-year-old male was charged with riding an e-scooter on Lauren Croft Road, Stirling also without insurance and a driving licence. Later that same date, a 31-year-old male was charged with riding an e-bike near Hallpark, Sauchie without insurance and a driving licence.

All bikes were seized and reports submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Inspector Andrew Angus said: “We continue to receive complaints from our local communities about this type of behaviour as the problem has not gone away.

“Those involved often don’t wear appropriate headgear and protective equipment and often don’t have the documents for the vehicle. It is not uncommon for the bikes to have to be stolen, and many are unregistered.

“We make full use or road traffic legislation to seize those that that are being used illegally. Many of those seized are subsequently dismantled and crushed. We enforce the legislation, with support from our partners.

“The public can play a part in this, if you know where vehicles being used for these offences are being stored, or who is using them, call us on 101. Please provide as much information as possible so we can act to further reduce the anti-social use of these vehicles.”

The Met Office has issued an Amber warning for strong winds across Scotland ⚠️

The Amber warning will be in place from Saturday, 24 October, 9pm until Sunday, 25 October, 9pm.

Advice:
- Be prepared for disruption to travel
- Consider delaying travel until conditions improve
- Plan ahead
- Do not ignore road closure signs

🎣 Illegal fishing and fish poaching aren’t harmless pastimes — they’re serious wildlife crimes that threaten Scotland’s salmon and other species.

These actions can devastate fragile river ecosystems, damage local biodiversity, and harm rural livelihoods that depend on sustainable angling and tourism.

Tackling this kind of criminality is a shared responsibility. Through partnership working with organisations such as Fisheries Boards, NatureScot, and local communities, we’re working to protect our waterways and the wildlife that depend on them.

As part of Operation Salmo, this week we have carried out multi agency, targeted and intelligence led patrols to bring offenders to justice.

Over 160 new police officers participated in an external training exercise today.

The probationary officers, who will complete their initial training course next week, were involved in a day of sporting event activities at Indodrill Stadium in Alloa. 🏟️

Overseen by instructors from Learning, Training and Development, they were tested on sporting event legislation, the application of operational safety training tactics and use of their first aid skills.

The overall initial training period has been extended to 18 weeks.

This consists of 1 week at a regional training centre, 15 weeks at either the Scottish Police College (Tulliallan) or the Training and Recruitment Centre (East Kilbride), followed by a further 2 weeks at a regional training centre.
