Starting 1st November: HIT Education’s November Challenge for Mind!

Throughout November, we’re taking on 100 push-ups or running a mile every day to raise money and awareness for Mind, the mental health charity.

Mental wellbeing matters to us at HIT Education, and we’re coming together to support a cause close to our hearts.

Here’s how you can support us:

• Join the challenge throughout November.
• Donate whatever you can — every contribution helps.
• Share our fundraiser to spread the word.
• Send us your challenge photos and videos, and tag HIT Education so we can celebrate your progress!

Follow along as we share our efforts throughout the month. Thank you for your support!

Wear something RED and help us Show Racism the Red Card!

We’re encouraging our learners, staff and supporters to wear something red — a top, hoodie, socks or an accessory — to show that racism has no place in our education settings or communities.

At HIT Education, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, valued and respected. Wearing red is a conversation starter; listening, learning and challenging racism are how we carry that message forward.

Stand together. Challenge racism. Celebrate diversity.

Wearing red? Tag us in HIT Education | Educational Programmes and help spread the message!

You matter. Your feelings matter.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding every young person that they deserve to feel heard, valued and supported.

Being available for a young person can make a real difference. Making time to listen, checking in and being present without judgement shows them that they matter and that someone cares.

You don’t always need to have the answers. Sometimes, the most important thing is being there when someone needs to talk.

🖤 Make time.
💛 Listen with care.
🖤 Remind someone they’re not alone.

Asking for help shows strength. You don’t need the perfect words to start a conversation.

Every young person deserves to feel heard, respected and understood.

When a learner is disengaged, taking time to listen can help build trust and make it easier for them to share what’s going on. Small things matter: give them space to speak, ask open questions and show that you’re listening without judgement.

Swipe through for six practical ways to help young people feel heard.

BUILD SKILLS. BUILD CONFIDENCE. BUILD YOUR FUTURE.

At HIT Education, we support young people to take positive steps towards a future in the construction industry through our CSCS Card & CITB HS&E Test pathway.

Our programme combines practical support, preparation and mentoring to help learners develop their knowledge, confidence and understanding of health and safety in construction.

✅ CSCS preparation and support
✅ CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test preparation
✅ Health & safety knowledge
✅ Employability and work-readiness skills
✅ 1-to-1 and small-group support
✅ Confidence building and mentoring
✅ Progression towards construction opportunities

We understand that every young person learns differently, which is why our sessions are designed to be engaging, supportive and focused on progression.

📩 Interested in referring a young person or finding out more about our construction pathway?

At HIT Education, we want to bring out the very best in every young person we work with.

Education should be about more than completing work. It should help young people build confidence, recognise their strengths and start to see what they are truly capable of.

For some of our learners, the biggest change isn’t just what they achieve — it’s how they begin to see themselves.

We want our students to leave believing:
I can do this. I am capable. I have something to offer.

Bespoke education. Positive relationships. Brighter futures.
