Now that Halloween is over, and we are into November, can we talk about Christmas now?! 🎄🎅🏻🎄🎁🎄⛄🎄
Here at Wem Scouts Christmas Trees we are ready and raring.
A range of local, fresh cut Nordmann Fir trees and natural, handmade wreaths & posies for sale, with local delivery included in the price.
Available to buy online, or come and see us at one of our sales events; Saturday 28th November Wem Christmas Festival (1pm-6pm) and Saturday 5th & 12th December outside CoOp (10am-2pm).
All proceeds to Wem Scout Group.

Christmas brought to you with low "freight miles" (that's the equivalent of food miles, I looked it up!)...
Our beautiful, natural Nordmann Fir trees come from The Croft Tree farm, just up the road in Whixall.
All of our wreaths and posies are handmade by our Scouting families in Wem, using local, natural materials.
Best of all, if you order from us, we can deliver locally for free...saves you making that extra trip in your car!

Our Scouts and Explorers had an amazing, spooky Halloween Camp this weekend at Kibblestone International Scout Campsite
At a beautiful site, with beautiful weather (albeit a little 🥶 overnight); they challenged themselves, taking part in lots of adventurous activities and showing loads of determination and resolve.
Saturday evening was the traditional Halloween trail through the woods, with bases including ghost stories, chasing the Adams Family, meeting jump scare characters in the woods and the Child Catchers lair! 😱🎃👻💀
Thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Kibblestone for making all of this happen

This weekend some of our Cubs were lucky to be able to attend an awesome camp with others from the district, at Cox Wood, near Wrexham.
They showed great courage, mixed with other groups and had a blast!

We had a great day at Monopoly Run Manchester with an Explorer team and a Scout team for the first time 🐝
Amazing to explore this great city, see some landmarks and have a good giggle as we went!
Well done to our teams, who did really well considering we are country bumpkins at heart! A massive thanks to all the volunteers who make the event happen 👊🎉⚜️

A great hike yesterday from Haughmond Hill to central Shrewsbury and home on the train. Great weather and a chilled route, with lots of chatting and laughs.
An awesome pizza stop in the Quarry was enjoyed by all!
Some tired Scouts and doggos!
