WMPSC is pleased to announce the exchange of an MoU with Duravit AG India for the up-skilling of plumbing technicians across the country.

The MoU was exchanged between Mr. Sahyog Bharti Pandita, MD (India & SAARC), Duravit India, and Mr. Vinay Gupta, Chairman – Advisory Board, WMPSC.

This collaboration marks another significant milestone in advancing industry-led skilling initiatives and creating a stronger, future-ready workforce for the water and plumbing sector.

The 6th batch of the WATERPRO Plumbing Technician Training Program, in collaboration with , was successfully conducted at the Kohler Innovation Centre with the enthusiastic participation of 50 plumbing technicians.

This initiative reflects the power of industry and skill ecosystem coming together to create meaningful impact on ground enhancing technical expertise, promoting professional excellence, and empowering technicians with modern industry practices.

With every batch, we move one step closer to our shared vision of training 500 technicians by March-end and strengthening India’s skilled workforce for the future.

As part of their advanced preparation, special training sessions are also being conducted at the Geberit
Training Facility to further enhance their technical skills and global competition readiness.

WMPSC was honored to be part of the Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 Business Conclave in New Delhi, contributing to the skilling session on “Skilling with Purpose: Building Employment Pathways for Tribal Youth and Women.”

Representing WMPSC, Mr Varun Tandon joined the panel alongside key stakeholders from government and industry, in a session chaired by Smt Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The discussion focused on strengthening employment pathways through inclusive, demand driven skilling. WMPSC highlighted the need for stronger industry linkages, structured career pathways, and greater participation of tribal youth and women in emerging sectors such as water management and plumbing.

This engagement reflects WMPSC’s continued commitment to driving inclusive skilling and contributing to national level conversations that shape future workforce development.

Proud to share that 15 WMPSC trainers have been deployed for the Trainer Orientation Program on Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in collaboration with Indraprastha Gas Limited.

This is a crucial step toward building a robust training ecosystem, as these master trainers will further enable field trainers across 110 key districts, driving large-scale workforce development in the PNG sector.
