A delegation from the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, led by Ira Singhal (IAS) visited the District Resource Centre at Govt. Co-Ed. Sr. Sec. School, Sector-5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, to observe inclusive education practices and support services for CwDs.
The team interacted with therapists, staff, and students, and observed therapeutic interventions.
A sapling plantation drive was also conducted during the visit to promote environmental awareness ๐ฑ

The Directorate of Education, in collaboration with Perkins India, has initiated Project Prayaas to strengthen inclusion for Children with Disabilities across Govt. and Govt. Special Schools.
A half-day Boot Camp was conducted at Govt. S(Co-Ed) SSS, Sector 6, R.K. Puram, bringing together school leaders, special educators, and subject teachers to build a shared understanding of the Model Program approach.
Through collaboration, capacity building, and a shared vision, we move closer to creating equitable learning spaces for every child. ๐

Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month at GGSSS Kanti Nagar ๐
April โ26 turned into a celebration of inclusion, empathy, and shared experiences ๐ From energising motor activities and brain boosters to balance games and team challenges, every corner of the school echoed with participation and joy ๐ค
Through assembly orientations, guided relay activities, and 5 engaging activity stations, students and teachers came together to learn, play, and grow side by side โจ Footprint splashes and colourful handprints became symbols of support, acceptance, and belonging ๐จ๐ฃ
With the wholehearted involvement of HOS, mentors, teachers, students (with and without disabilities), and supporting staff, the school truly lived the spirit of inclusion ๐

Proud moment for Delhi! ๐ฎ๐ณ At the Special Olympics Bharat (SOB) National Games 2026 in Gwalior, our CwD secured Gold ๐ฅ, with the Delhi team securing 1st position nationally among 16 states. Adding to this, at the Delhi Bowling State Championship 2026 (SOB), our CwDs also secured a Bronze ๐ฅ and another strong 4th place finish. A powerful reflection of grit, growth, and inclusion.
