Hon’ble Minister for S&T, along with 14 Secretaries from S&T Ministries, inaugurated the Vigyan Tech Exhibition on 2026 held today at NII, New Delhi. The exhibition showcased 100+ in-house innovations,with ARCI proudly showcasing its innovations.

Dr. R. Vijay, Director, ARCI launched ARCI's new website: www.arci.res.in. Developed as per DBIM 3.0 & GIGW 3.0 guidelines, the new portal offers improved accessibility, user experience, and inclusivity. STQC certification process is being initiated.

Dr R. Vijay, Director, ARCI delivered welcome address & introduced esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. K. Balasubramanian, Padma Shri awardee, Distinguished Scientist & Director,NFTDC, Hyderabad.

Chief guest delivered a talk,“A Case Study of Indigenous End-to-End Technology Development-NFTDC’s Total Knee Prosthesis.”The programme reflected the spirit of “Vigyan TECH 2026”, emphasising India’s growing technological capabilities & collaborative innovation ecosystem.

Dr. R. Vijay, Director, ARCI, held an insightful discussion on ARCI’s innovations with Mr. Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and Mrs. Nalini Raghuraman, Political Economy Advisor, at ARCI, Hyderabad today.

ARCI celebrated the 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar on April 14, 2026. Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Chairman-Governing Council, Dr. R. Vijay, Director, ARCI, and other dignitaries participated and paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the occasion.
