🏛️ PSUs urged to support Salar Jung Museum modernisation and expansion: Governor 🇮🇳

Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla today appealed to Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to partner in the modernisation and expansion of the iconic Salar Jung Museum through their CSR initiatives. 🤝✨

Chairing a meeting with PSU representatives at Lok Bhavan, the Governor, who is also the Chairman of the Salar Jung Museum, reviewed preparations for the Museum’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations to be held from June 14–21, commemorating the birth anniversary of Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. 🎉🏛️

The Governor highlighted plans to transform the Museum into a world-class institution over the next five years through:
🔹 Gallery enhancement and expansion
🔹 Modern conservation laboratories
🔹 Improved visitor services and amenities
🔹 Expanded educational and outreach programmes
🔹 Creation of a dedicated Telangana Heritage Wing 🏺

Responding positively to the Governor’s appeal, PSU representatives assured their support and expressed willingness to explore partnerships for the Museum’s development initiatives. 🤝

🏅 Attending the 14th Presentation & Felicitation Programme of the Aditya Mehta Foundation in Hyderabad, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla lauded the determination, resilience, and achievements of para-athletes who have transformed adversity into success.

🚴‍♀️ The Governor interacted with the athletes, observed their training sessions, and commended the Aditya Mehta Foundation for its sustained efforts in empowering persons with disabilities through sports, training, and rehabilitation.

👏 He congratulated para-cyclists Shivani, Jyothi, Shaik Arshad, and Leesha Das for their outstanding accomplishments, describing them as role models who bring pride to the nation.

🤝 Emphasising that inclusion is not merely a policy objective but a social responsibility, the Governor appreciated the Foundation’s role in building confidence among persons with disabilities and providing them a platform to excel.

🎬 Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla launched the trailer of “Chand Tara... The Legend of Taramati” at Taramati Baradari, Hyderabad.
🏛️ Organised by the Khader Ali Baig Theatre Foundation in association with the Telangana Tourism Department, the event celebrated Hyderabad’s rich cultural heritage and artistic legacy.
🌍 The Governor expressed confidence that the film would carry Telangana’s cultural traditions to audiences across India and the world. ✨
