It’s barely been a few days since a senior citizen lost his life on Lokhandwala Back Road… and today, these young boys are racing again on the same stretch.

This has to stop. Our roads are not a racetrack.

Heartbreaking Loss in Lokhandwala 💔

82-year-old Mr. Radhakrishna K P Menon was on his daily evening walk yesterday — a routine he followed lovingly for years. He would leave his residence in 4 Bungalows, walk up to S V P Nagar to meet his granddaughter, and walk back home.

Tragically, a biker riding at high speed lost control and hit him, resulting in his immediate death.

An innocent senior citizen has lost his life due to reckless driving on the Lokhandwala Back Road. He was on his way to meet his granddaughter — a walk filled with love, now ended in tragedy.

We urge the authorities to take strict and immediate action against rash driving in this area. Our elders deserve to feel safe on the streets they have walked for decades.

Major tragedy was averted at Andheri railway station on the evening of 28 May when a passenger, who got trapped in the gap between the platform & a moving local train, was rescued in the nick of time by quick-thinking Railway Protection Force personnel. The incident occurred as the passenger attempted to board a running local train. He lost balance & got wedged in narrow space between the platform edge & moving coach. Within seconds, RPF Sub-Inspector Bhangare & his team sprang into action & successfully pulled the passenger to safety. The entire dramatic rescue was captured on the station’s CCTV cameras.

While we are trying hard to push the authorities to get the back road mangroves cleant.. the illegal dumping continues.. kindly increase patrolling and take these guys to task

Yesterday, a brawl happened between an Amazon delivery executive and the watchman of a building in Swami Samarth Nagar complex over some gate entry issue.

Later, the delivery persons friends arrived with sticks which resulted in a major fight.
