ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ බැංකුව විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන FinLit Expo 2026 වැඩසටහනට සමගාමීව පවත්වනු ලබන බදුල්ල - LANKAQR ගෙවීම් ක්‍රමවේදය පිළිබඳ සංචාරක ව්‍යාපාරයේ නියුතු ඔබව දැනුවත් කරන්න බැංකු සහ මූල්‍ය ආයතන රැසක නියෝජිතයනුත් සමග, නොවැම්බර් 5 (අද) සහ 6 (හෙට) යන දෙදින LankaPay අපි එනවා බදුල්ල නගරයට.

හික්කඩුව – Driving Digital Payment Adoption Across the Southern Coast!

As part of the හික්කඩුව regional digital payment promotion organised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, LankaPay, together with representatives from leading banks and payment service providers, conducted a LANKAQR merchant awareness and onboarding programme on 24th October 2026.

The promotional activities covered Hikkaduwa, Maduganga, Bentota, and Aluthgama, engaging with local merchants to raise awareness of LANKAQR and encourage greater adoption of digital payment solutions.

With a special focus on the tourism sector, the initiative highlighted the benefits of LANKAQR in facilitating seamless, secure, and convenient digital payments for both local and international visitors, while empowering merchants to embrace a more digitally connected payment ecosystem.

Here are some captured moments from the ගාල්ල LANKAQR merchant awareness and onboarding programme held on 23rd October 2026 across Ahangama, Habaraduwa, Unawatuna, and Galle.

Conducted by LankaPay, together with leading banks and payment service providers under the direction of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the initiative brought digital payment awareness directly to local merchants, particularly those in the tourism sector.

Through meaningful merchant engagement and awareness-building activities, the programme encouraged wider adoption of LANKAQR, enabling secure, convenient, and seamless digital payments for both local and international visitors.
