The Manchester Municipal Corporation Poor Pelief Department, in collaboration with Candle in the Dark Ministries and the Not In Vain Foundation, marked World Homeless Day on Friday, October 9, 2026 by serving persons experiencing homelessness with: pedicure, manicure, massage, shower and grooming.

Everyone deserves to feel clean, cared for, and valued. Moments like these remind us that compassion starts with seeing people, and then showing up for them.
