Please be advised that the Bog Walk Gorge is currently impassable following an incident in which a container being transported on a trailer overturned on the bridge.

Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes until further notice. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available and clearance operations progress.

🚧 SERVICE ADVISORY 🚧

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) wishes to advise commuters that, due to critical road repair works being undertaken by the National Works Agency (NWA), a section of Long Lane along Stony Hill Road in St. Andrew will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, until 3:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026.

The closure, which affects the area near the Lane Landings Housing Complex, is expected to create operational challenges for services originating from the Rockfort Depot.

As a result, commuters should expect reduced service levels on Routes 52A, 53 and 54. Additionally, Route 52B may be temporarily suspended for the duration of the road closure, subject to further assessment.

JUTC teams will conduct an evaluation of the proposed alternate route to ensure it is safe and suitable for bus operations before any service adjustments are finalized.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank our valued customers for their patience and understanding as these important infrastructure works are carried out.
