President Hakainde Hichilema Attends Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi and Departs for Lusaka
The President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, yesterday on Day Two of the Africa Forward Summit held in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, continued to actively engage in high-level deliberations aimed at advancing Africa’s economic transformation, regional integration, and sustainable development.
During the proceedings, President Hichilema participated in key sessions alongside fellow African Heads of State, government officials, private sector leaders, and international partners. Discussions focused on strengthening intra-African trade, accelerating industrialisation, enhancing investment flows, and fostering innovative solutions to address the continent’s developmental challenges.
On the margins of the summit, President Hichilema held bilateral meetings with various stakeholders, aimed at deepening Zambia’s economic cooperation and exploring new opportunities in trade and investment. These interactions reaffirmed Zambia’s position as a stable and attractive investment destination within the region.
Following the successful conclusion of his participation at the summit, President Hichilema departed Nairobi for Lusaka yesterday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the President was seen off by Zambian Government officials, officials from the Zambia High Commission in Nairobi, and representatives of the Kenyan Government.
