We are indebted to Miriam Teuma for establishing and leading Aฤกenzija ลปgฤงaลผagฤง with courage, and unwavering faith in young people and in youth workers. Her vision and determination have been instrumental in shaping youth work in Malta. Her commitment to the profession has given public recognition to youth work in Malta, and at a European level. We are immensely grateful for our collaboration with Aฤกenzija ลปgฤงaลผagฤง. We have learnt so much along this journey. We wish Miriam every fulfilment in the chapter ahead. Our very best wishes to Mr. Jason Zammit, an alumni of our department, on his new appointment as CEO. We look forward to continuing our collaboration.
Today, we thank Ms Miriam Teuma for her outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication as CEO of Agenzija ลปgฤงaลผagฤง over the past 15 years.
What began as a vision grew into a home for youth work in Malta; an agency that not only created employment opportunities for youth workers, but also opened countless doors for young people to grow, learn, travel, participate, and believe in their potential.
Ms Teuma did not simply lead an agency; she built a community rooted in care, passion, inclusion, and belief in young people. Her work has touched the lives of so many, and her legacy will continue to live on through every youth worker empowered by Agenzija ลปgฤงaลผagฤง and every young person whose journey was shaped by its opportunities.
Thank you for your commitment, for believing in the value of youth work, and for planting seeds that will continue to flourish for generations to come.
Wishing you all the very best in this new chapter of your life. May you always carry with you the pride of knowing that your impact has been profound and lasting. Your legacy will continue to inspire many for years to come.
