L-Assoċjazzjoni tal-Kunsilli Lokali tilqa’ b’sodisfazzjon il-ħatra tal-Ministru Onor. Alison Zerafa Civelli responsabbli mill-Gvern Lokali u tawguralha kull suċċess fir-responsabbiltà importanti li ġiet fdata lilha.

Il-Gvern Lokali jibqa’ wieħed mill-aktar pilastri importanti tal-amministrazzjoni pubblika, għaliex huwa l-eqreb livell ta’ tmexxija lejn ir-residenti tagħna. Id-deċiżjonijiet li jittieħdu f’dan il-livell jolqtu b’mod dirett il-ħajja ta’ kuljum tal-komunitajiet tagħna u għandhom impatt konkret fuq il-kwalità tal-ħajja tan-nies.

L-Assoċjazzjoni tal-Kunsilli Lokali timpenja ruħha li tkompli taħdem flimkien mal-Ministru sabiex jitwettaq it-tibdil meħtieġ biex is-settur tal-Gvern Lokali jibqa’ modern, aġġornat u kapaċi jilqa’ għall-isfidi u r-realtajiet tal-lum u ta’ għada.

F’dan il-kuntest, l-Assoċjazzjoni twiegħed l-appoġġ tagħha kif ukoll ir-rieda politika li taħdem id f’id mal- Ministeru sabiex ir-resident jibqa’ fiċ-ċentru tad-deċiżjonijiet, permezz ta’ parteċipazzjoni diretta f’dak kollu li jirrigwardjah permezz tal-Kunsilli Lokali u Reġjonali.

Dan jibqa’ wkoll konformi mal-viżjoni tal-Assoċjazzjoni “Resident l-Ewwel – Kwalità ta’ Ħajja Aħjar”, li tkompli tiggwida l-ħidma u l-prijoritajiet tagħha.

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

This month, the Local Councils' Association joins communities across the nation in raising awareness, breaking the stigma, and promoting the importance of mental well-being for all.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Whether it’s a neighbor, a colleague, a family member—or even ourselves—we all have mental health, and we all deserve support. 🤝

Local councils play a vital role in fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive environments. Let’s continue working together to:
✅ Encourage open conversations
✅ Promote access to resources and support
✅ Build stronger, healthier communities

If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out. Help is available. 💬

✨ You Matter is a reminder that no one is alone. Every voice matters. Every story matters. You matter. 💚

📞 If you are a Mayor, Councillor, or work with Local or Regional Councils, help and support is just a phone call away—free of charge and fully supported by our professional team.
