Ministry of Environment,Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) together with the Lotteries Board of Namibia and the Gambling Board of Namibia hosted stakeholder engagement consultations from the 24th march to the 9th April across various regions to discuss proposed amendments to the Lotteries regulations.
The amendments include:
The 5% levy on the total value of promotional competitions, new proposed fees, mandatory use of prescribed forms, and the state lottery.
