✨ JUNE 012026 ACCOMPLISHMENT HIGHLIGHTS | SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF CANDABONG ✨

The month of June marked a significant milestone for the youth and people of Barangay Candabong as the Sangguniang Kabataan continued its commitment to preserving our heritage, empowering young people, promoting environmental responsibility, and supporting education.

A historic moment was witnessed during the Official Turnover of the Candabong Hymn and Barangay Flag, two symbols that embody the rich history, culture, aspirations, and unity of every Candabonganon. This achievement serves as a lasting legacy for future generations and strengthens our sense of identity and pride in our beloved barangay.

The event was made even more memorable through the exceptional talents of our youth leaders.The Candabong Hymn was proudly composed by Sk Kagawad Arjay P. Delapeña , SK Chairperson Elaisa Mae P. Delig and SK Kagawad Mike Jason Olaguer their inspiring vocal performances, proving that leadership and talent go hand in hand. With musical arrangement by Mr. Janwel Ladaga, bringing to life a song that reflects the story, beauty, and spirit of Barangay Candabong. Meanwhile, the official Barangay Flag, designed by Clares Bersabal, now stands as a visual representation of our community's values, resources, history, and collective dreams.Their participation showcased the creativity, passion, and dedication of the youth in preserving and promoting our local culture.

Above all, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Punong Barangay Hon. Servando D. Amora and Council, whose vision and initiative inspired the creation of the Candabong Hymn and Barangay Flag.

In line with our commitment to environmental stewardship, the Sangguniang Kabataan distributed trash bins to schools within the barangay as part of its environmental protection initiative. This project aims to instill discipline, promote proper waste segregation, and encourage students to become active partners in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Furthermore, SK Candabong actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program, joining teachers, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders in preparing school facilities for the opening of classes. Through volunteerism and cooperation, the youth once again demonstrated their willingness to contribute to the betterment of education in our community.

These accomplishments reflect the vision of an SK that not only serves but also inspires. Through culture, education, environmental programs, and active community involvement, we continue to prove that the youth of Candabong are capable of creating meaningful and lasting change.

The Sangguniang Kabataan extends its heartfelt gratitude to all individuals, organizations, schools, barangay officials, and community members who continuously support our programs and initiatives. Together, we move forward in building a more progressive, empowered, and united Barangay Candabong.
