Nagsagawa ang City Veterinary Office ng Veterinary Medical Mission sa Sitio Singalong, Brgy. San Jose upang magbigay ng libreng deworming at vitamin supplementation para sa mga alagang kambing, baka, kalabaw, at baboy ng ating mga magsasaka. Layunin ng programang ito na mapanatiling malusog at produktibo ang mga alagang hayop bilang suporta sa kabuhayan at seguridad sa pagkain ng ating komunidad. ✅🐄🐖🐃🐐

Bukod sa pagbibigay ng gamot at bitamina, nagbigay rin ang ating beterinaryo at livestock personnel ng mineral blocks, disinfectants pati na rin mga payo ukol sa wastong pag-aalaga, nutrisyon, at pag-iwas sa sakit ng mga alagang hayop upang mas mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga alagang hayop. 💊❌🦠

Patuloy ang City Veterinary Office sa paghahatid ng serbisyong beterinaryo sa iba’t ibang komunidad. Kung nais din ng inyong barangay o samahan ng mga mag-aalaga ng hayop na magkaroon ng ganitong serbisyo, maaaring makipag-ugnayan at mag-request sa aming tanggapan upang maisama sa aming susunod na veterinary outreach activities. 🫶💫

Nakapasa ang City Veterinary Office of Antipolo City sa Proficiency Testing (PT) for Rabies Diagnosis gamit ang Lateral Flow Device (LFD) ng Department of Agriculture – RF0 IV-A CALABARZON. Patunay ito ng maayos at ligtas na pagsasagawa ng rabies testing, tamang biosafety practices, at dedikasyon ng ating rabies focal personnel.

Patuloy ang aming suporta sa National Rabies Prevention and Control Program tungo sa isang rabies-free na komunidad. 🐶😺

⚠️ ANIMAL CRUELTY CASE ⚠️

A dog was brought to our office by a concerned citizen with the chief complaint of multiple rubber bands tightly tied around the maxillary area. Upon examination, four (4) rubber bands were found embedded around the upper jaw/muzzle, causing pain, swelling, and injury to the animal.

Immediate intervention was conducted by the City Veterinary Office. The rubber bands were carefully removed under light anesthesia to minimize pain and stress to the animal. The dog was also administered antibiotics, pain relievers, and anti-inflammatory medications for proper treatment and recovery.

This is a clear case of animal cruelty under Republic Act No. 8485, as amended by RA 10631, and is punishable by law.

Animals deserve compassion and humane treatment. Any act that causes unnecessary pain, suffering, or injury should be reported to the proper authorities.
