The Argao MFPTA at the Sangguniang Bayan of Argao

Just now, our Argao MFPTA Officers paid a visit to the Sangguniang Bayan of Argao in partnership for the upcoming Unity Run and Pickleball Tournament this coming November 14, 2026.

All proceeds will be given to support our talented Argaowanon student-athletes and student journalists heading to represent our municipality in the Provincial Sports Meet and Provincial Schools Press Conference.

Good news Argaowanons! Sept. 29, Tuesday is a Special Non-Working Holiday in the Municipality of Argao as we celebrate the 418th Araw ng Argao.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared Tuesday, September 29, 2026, a special non-working day in the Municipality of Argao, Cebu, in celebration of the town’s Araw ng Argao.

The declaration was issued through Proclamation No. 1451, signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto on September 24, 2026.

The proclamation recognizes the annual celebration of Araw ng Argao and provides the people of Argao an opportunity to fully participate in and enjoy the festivities.

The special non-working day will coincide with the municipality’s celebration of its 418th Araw ng Argao, which features various activities and events.

September 29, 2026 (Tuesday) is therefore declared a special non-working day in Argao, Cebu.
