Bilang paghahanda sa implementasyon ng Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) para sa taong kasalukuyan, nagsagawa ang DILG Gitnang Luzon at DILG Nueva Ecija ng oryentasyon para sa 148 target barangays mula sa mga lungsod ng Gapan at San Jose at mga bayan ng Bongabon, Carranglan, Gabaldon, General Mamerto Natividad, General Tinio, Laur, Licab, Llanera, Lupao, Nampicuan, Pantabangan, Peรฑaranda, Quezon, Rizal, Santo Domingo, Talavera, at Talugtug. Ang aktibidad, na hinati sa limang (5) batch, ay isinagawa noong Mayo 20, 21, 25, 26, at 28.

Dinaluhan ang oryentasyon ng mga DILG Field Officers, mga hepe ng lokal na kapulisan, at mga City/Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators mula sa 19 na LGUs na nakakasakop sa 148 target barangays. Kabilang din sa mga kalahok ang mga Punong Barangay, mga Sangguniang Barangay Member on Peace and Order, at mga Kalihim ng Barangay.

Pinangunahan ang mga talakayan ni LGOO VII Lerrie S. Hernandez, EnP., Chief ng Monitoring and Evaluation Division ng DILG Gitnang Luzon, katuwang sina LGOO VI Fatima S. Lalu, LGOO V Philip Nathan B. Moral, LGOO IV Lhoyd Parungao, LGOO II Angelique Fe G. Valenzuela, PDO I Fiona Mae P. Sales. Mula naman sa Philippine Army, ang nanguna sa talakayan ay si LtCol Kenny Rae C Tizon, Commanding Officer ng 48th Infantry Battalion, katuwang si 1LT Martie C Villanueva.

Pinangunahan ang pag-organisa ng aktibidad ng RCSP Team ng DILG Nueva Ecija sa pamumuno ni Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director, kasama sina LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera, Cluster I Team Leader; LGOO VII Louie C. Manarpiis, Ph.D., Cluster II Team Leader; LGOO VI Donnabel E. Estipular, Program Manager; LGOO VI Kristian Rob D. Santiago, Monitoring and Evaluation Section Chief; at LGOO II Annalyn D. Tamondong, RCSP Focal Person.

Tinalakay sa aktibidad ang security situation ng mga target barangays, mga umiiral na patnubay ng RCSP, rapid profiling para sa mga target barangays, mga hakbang sa pagbuo ng Enhanced Barangay Development Plan (eBDP), at mga patnubay sa pagpapatupad ng Support to the Barangay Development Program (SBDP).

Layunin ng oryentasyon na palakasin ang kaalaman at kahandaan ng mga RCSP implementers hinggil sa mga polisiya, proseso, at mga hakbang sa pagpapatupad ng programa para sa taong kasalukuyan. Binigyang-diin din dito ang kahalagahan ng koordinasyon, convergence, at sama-samang pagkilos ng mga LGUs, DILG, at iba pang katuwang na ahensya upang maisulong ang layunin ng RCSP na makapaghatid ng mas inklusibo, mapayapa, at sustenableng pag-unlad sa mga komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na koordinasyon at sama-samang pagkilos ng mga katuwang na ahensya at lokal na pamahalaan, patuloy na isinusulong ng Nueva Ecija ang kapayapaan at kaunlaran bilang pundasyon ng matatag, ligtas, at maunlad na mga barangay.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Nueva Ecija, under the leadership of Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, conducted its Provincial Team Conference (PTC) for May 2026 at the DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office. The conference was held in a hybrid setup to ensure the participation of all personnel across the province.

The activity served as a venue for presenting sectional accomplishments, operational updates, and key administrative reminders. LGOO III Millicent Kaye I. Velasquez presented the status of reports under the Capability Development Section (CDS), while Engr. Patrick Jerome L. Cipriano discussed updates on Locally-Funded Projects (LFPs). Meanwhile, LGOO V Maria Gabriela Isabel C. Bernardez shared updates from the Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), followed by LGOO V Angelyn B. De Guzman, who delivered important reminders from the Finance and Administrative Section.

One of the highlights of the conference was the awarding of the Provincial Awardee on Compliance and Excellence (PACE), which recognized the outstanding performance of Field Officers and Provincial Office personnel for the month of April.

The Provincial Team Conference reaffirmed the officeโ€™s commitment to strengthening coordination, enhancing operational efficiency, and sustaining excellence in public service delivery throughout Nueva Ecija.

DILG Nueva Ecija participated in the KADIWA ng Pangulo for May, held on May 25, 2026 at the Provincial Capitol Lobby, Barangay Singalat, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

Hosted by the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija under the leadership of Honorable Governor Aurelio M. Umali, this monthly initiative continues to provide a direct market for local farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The Katuwang sa Diwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (KADIWA) ng Pangulo strengthens the link between producers and consumers by offering fresh and reasonably priced products while helping ensure fair and stable income for local producers. It also serves as a platform for promoting food accessibility and supporting community-based enterprises.

Through the continued collaboration of national government agencies, local government units, and community partners, KADIWA remains a reliable initiative that benefits both producers and consumers while promoting inclusive local economic development.

Under the leadership of Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, DILG Nueva Ecija conducted a table assessment with the members of the Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF) for the Child-Friendly Local Government Audit (CFLGA).

During the activity, the DILG NE CFLGA Team presented an overview of the audit, including its indicators, assessment parameters, and implementation timeline. The PIMTF likewise discussed the status of submissions of the required means of verification and other documentary requirements.

The Table Assessment was conducted to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documents being prepared and submitted by LGUs in preparation for the upcoming CFLGA Regional Assessment. The activity also reinforced the commitment of member agencies and stakeholders in promoting child-friendly governance and advancing the welfare and protection of children across Nueva Ecija.

Nagbigay-pugay ang DILG Nueva Ecija sa labing-anim (16) na Lupong Tagapamayapa sa lalawigan na nagpamalas ng natatanging husay at dedikasyon sa pagsusulong ng Katarungang Pambarangay at pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan sa kani-kanilang komunidad.

Ang paggawad ng pagkilala ay pinangunahan nina Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., CESO V, Provincial Director; LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera, Cluster I Team Leader; LGOO VII Louie C. Manarpiis, Ph.D., Cluster II Team Leader; at LGOO VI Donnabel E. Estipular, Program Manager; kasama ang mga DILG Field Officers na nakakasakop sa mga kinikilalang Lupon.

Kasabay ding pinarangalan sa aktibidad ang walong (8) barangay na matagumpay na nakapasa sa Building Excellence in Service and Transparency (BEST) for Barangay Program. Ang naturang programa ay naglalayong kilalanin ang mga barangay na nagpapakita ng mahusay na pamamahala, episyenteng paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko, transparency, at pagpapatupad ng mga programang nagtataguyod ng kaayusan, pananagutan, at aktibong partisipasyon ng mamamayan. Patunay ang kanilang pagkilala na ang mahusay na pamumuno at matatag na sistemang pambarangay ay mahalagang pundasyon ng mapayapa at maunlad na komunidad.

Binigyang-diin sa programa ang mahalagang papel ng mga Lupong Tagapamayapa bilang katuwang ng pamahalaan sa mapayapang pagresolba ng mga sigalot sa barangay at sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at pagkakaisa sa komunidad.

May 14, 2026 โ€“ DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Office personnel, together with On-the-Job trainees from Central Luzon State University, successfully conducted a Physical Wellness Activity dubbed โ€œShake, Rattle, and Rollโ€ at the Provincial Office in Cabanatuan City.

Hosted by Group 1, the activity featured energizing physical exercises and interactive games that encouraged teamwork, coordination, camaraderie, and active participation among personnel and trainees from Groups 2, 3, and 4.

The activity highlighted three exciting games:

๐ŸŸข Shake โ€“ Participants twisted, wiggled, and danced as they attempted to shake all the balls out of a tissue box strapped to their waist, promoting balance, agility, and coordination.

๐ŸŸก Rattle โ€“ In this fast-paced balloon-popping challenge, participants chased and dodged opponents while protecting their own balloons, sharpening speed, reflexes, and strategic movement.

๐Ÿ”ต Roll โ€“ Participants tested their strength, endurance, and teamwork by rolling and relaying a ball to teammates while lying on the ground, emphasizing cooperation and physical coordination.

The games required participants to exert physical energy, demonstrate teamwork, and collaborate efficiently to successfully complete each challenge.

Through the Wellness Thursday Program, DILG Nueva Ecija continues to promote collaboration, creativity, teamwork, and overall wellness in the workplace through engaging and meaningful activities.
