Baracayo IS Faculty Learns and Bonds at GAD, Mental Health, and Team Building Activity
To support our teachers' well-being and promote equality inside the classroom, Baracayo Integrated School successfully held a seminar-workshop on Mental Health Awareness and Gender and Development (GAD). Spearheaded by our School Head, Marivic Aguilar Obatonon , and organized through the hard work of our GAD School Coordinators Catherine Jhoy Languido, Shirley Grace Coquilla, and Mardel P. Morta the event gave our faculty a much-needed space to learn, open up, and talk about keeping a healthy work-life balance while building a gender-fair school community.
After the morning sessions, everyone gathered for a wonderful fellowship lunch to relax and enjoy good food together.
The fun continued into the afternoon with high-energy parlor games, a lively videoke session, a refreshing swim, and a lot of laughs as the team jumped into the latest TikTok dance trends.
We are truly grateful to our school head and organizers for this refreshing day, helping the Baracayo IS family recharge their minds and bond as a team so we can continue giving our best to our learners!

It takes a village to prepare for something meaningful—and at Baracayo Integrated School, that spirit is alive and strong.
Baracayo Integrated School is ready for the ARAL Summer Program 2026.
With the help and cooperation of everyone, the school has completed its preparations. Guided by the mantra, “Promoting Excellence, Transforming Lives,” teachers worked together in preparing materials and conducting home visits to ARAL learners. During these visits, parents were oriented and informed about the benefits of the program for their children.
This was made possible through the guidance of School Head Ma’am Marivic A. Obatonon, together with the support of Ma’am Christy Del Valle, Mardel Morta, Rommel T. Villalongja, and ARAL Tutor Ma’am Cindy H. Celda, who willingly contributed their time and effort in preparing the materials.
Thank you to everyone and to the parents for entrusting us with your children.
