In line with the IEC Campaign, the MEN Opposed to VAW Everywhere (MOVE) Barangay Orientation is a community-based initiative aimed at engaging men and boys as active advocates in the prevention of Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC). This activity was conducted at the barangay level to educate and encourage men to take an active role in promoting respect, equality, integrity, and commitment within the community.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Isulan successfully conducted an Orientation on Anti-VAWC Laws for Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE) from the clustered barangays of Bambad, Kolambog, Kudanding, and Sampao. The activity was held on March 26, 2026, at the Bambad Barangay Hall, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran for the unwavering support and commitment to promoting gender sensitivity and protecting the rights of women and children which greatly contributes to the success of this initiative.

The Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting of the Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) on February 26, 2026, at the Municipal Youth Home, Municipal Hall Compound, Kalawag III, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. The activity was attended by Hon. SB Member Janice Joy P. Dollete, Chairperson of the Committee on Women, together with the LCAT-VAWC members. The meeting aimed to formally convene stakeholders and strengthen coordination and collaboration in addressing issues related to trafficking and violence against women and their children.

The activity was made possible through the strong leadership and continued support of our Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran, a young and dynamic leader and a dedicated advocate for a violence-free community.

Collectively, we remain dedicated to creating a safer and more empowered environment, particularly for women and children.”

"2026 Municipal Women's Month Culmination Program"

The Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development officially kicked off the Municipal Women’s Month Celebration on March 18, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium. The activity commenced with a parade from Roundball to the Municipal grounds, participated by our BAI Kababaihan from different barangays, followed by a Zumba dance session. The women showcased their talents through a yelling competition and a hip-hop dance contest, highlighting their active participation, significant roles in the community, and empowerment.

On behalf of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for the successful conduct of the activity, made possible through the unwavering support of our beloved Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran a strong advocate for women and an epitome of empowerment.

Tungkol sa nangyaring pagpost sa Buylog Isulan Ugyon Kita page ngayong araw at nagpahayag ng 80K na papremyo ng Municipal Women Celebration at pag share ng tabulation result sa hiphop dance contest sa Bayan ng Isulan.

Nais po naming klaruhin ito sa lahat ng mga kababaihan na hndi po kami sa office ng MSWD Isulan ang nagsabi na ang magiging premyo po sa contest ay 80K. Ang pag share po ng tabulation ay hndi po nanggaling sa office of MSWD Isulan at wala ni isa man sa amin ang nagsabi, nagpalabas o nagpahayag ng impormasyon tungkol sa nasabing halaga ng pa-premyo. Ito ay pinatiling sorpresa at inanunsyo lamang sa araw ng selebrasyon. Sa nagpost po nito bukas ang opisina ng MSWD Isulan sa iyong pahayag at upang klaruhin ang naturang post.

Sa nagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon sana matigil na ito at respetuhin ang naging disisyon ng mga hurado. Naway magkaisa na tayo sa layunin na ang kababaihan ng Isulan ay magkaisa at sama sama tungo sa adhikain ng Bagong Isulan.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Isulan successfully conducted the Performance Implementation Review and Benchmarking last January 22-24, 2026 in Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte. The activity aimed to evaluate the office's program implementation, identify best practices and innovative strategies that may be adapted by the municipality , and enhance service delivery through learning exchange and comparison with established systems.

The MSWDO respectfully conveys its sincere gratitude to our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran for the unwavering support and guidance to this undertaking, which greatly contributed to the successful conduct of the Performance Implementation Review and Benchmarking in Dapitan City. Your steadfast commitment to social welfare and development programs continues to inspire the office in delivering responsive and people-centered services.

Before the year ends, a Special Meeting of the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children (LCAT-VAWC) was successfully conducted on December 26, 2025 at the Municipal Youth Home, Municipal Hall Compound, Kalawag 3, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat..

The said meeting was attended by Hon. SB Member Ana Fe M. Collado, Committee Chairman on Social Services, Hon. SB Member Janice Joy P. Dollete, Committee Chairman on Women, Gelen M. Crodua, Barangay Kagawad /VAW Desk Officer, together with other members and partner agencies, strengthening collective efforts for the protection of women and children.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to our Hon. Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran for the continued guidance and support to strengthen our commitment to end trafficking and violence against women and children.
