IN PHOTOS || The Bus-Bus Sub Fire Station, together with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Barangay Bus-Bus, carried out a Road Clearing Operation in Barangay Bus-Bus, Jolo, Sulu, to promote road safety and maintain clear and accessible routes for emergency response vehicles.

The activity focused on removing obstructions along roadways and raising public awareness about the importance of keeping streets clear, allowing fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles to respond promptly during emergencies.

Through this collaborative effort, the Bureau of Fire Protection continues to strengthen community cooperation, improve emergency accessibility, and uphold its commitment to protecting lives and properties. Clear roads save time, and every second counts in an emergency!

BFP REGION IX CONDUCTS INVENTORY OF PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT AT BUS-BUS FIRE SUB-STATION

IN PHOTOS || The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region IX Command Group conducted the Comprehensive Annual Inventory of Personnel, Pensioners, Property, Plant, and Equipment for Calendar Year 2026 at the Bus-Bus Fire Sub-Station, ensuring accountability, transparency, and proper management of government resources.
The activity was spearheaded by Acting Regional Director FSSUPT KADIL TURANI ACALUL, DSC, together with the distinguished members of the Regional Command Group:

• FSUPT WILFREDO A DAVID, DSC

They were warmly received by Acting Provincial Fire Marshal FSINSP JAYSON T AHIJON, MPA, and Bus-Bus Fire Sub-Station Commander SFO2 Adam S Ismani, alongside the personnel of the station.

The inventory team from the Regional Office, composed of the following officials, carried out the systematic inspection, verification, and documentation of personnel records, properties, and operational equipment:

The Bus-Bus Fire Sub Station Personnel, together with the Barangay Bus-Bus Local Government Unit under Punong Barangay Hon. Mai Abdulhamid Undug, through the Barangay Health Station, conducted a Dengue Awareness and Prevention Campaign to promote community participation in preventing dengue.

Residents were reminded to follow the 4S Strategy—Search and Destroy, Self-Protection, Seek Early Consultation, and Support Fogging—while maintaining clean surroundings and eliminating mosquito breeding sites.
Dengue awareness materials were also displayed in strategic areas to reinforce prevention and encourage early consultation.

|| 2026 Hospital Week Bloodletting Activity at Sulu Sanitarium and General Hospital ||

The BFP Bus-Bus Fire Sub Station actively participated in the 2026 Hospital Week Bloodletting Activity organized by the Sulu Sanitarium and General Hospital (SSGH). Through voluntary blood donation, personnel showed that service goes beyond firefighting—extending a helping hand to those in need.

The Bus-Bus Sub Fire Station, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Barangay Bus-Bus, conducted a Road Clearing Operation in Barangay Bus-Bus, Jolo, Sulu, to keep roads and access routes free from obstructions and ensure the unhampered movement of fire trucks and other emergency response vehicles.

During the operation, personnel cleared road obstructions and reminded residents of the importance of keeping roadways accessible at all times to support public safety and effective emergency response. This initiative reinforces the Bureau of Fire Protection's commitment to faster emergency response and a safer community.
