Depositors of the closed Rural Bank of Cuyo (Palawan), Inc. only have until 10 June 2026 to file their deposit insurance claims with the . Deposit insurance claims may be filed either through e-mail at [email protected], postal mail or courier addressed to the PDIC Public Assistance Department, or personally at the PDIC Public Assistance Center in Makati City.

The results of the ’s Nationwide Public Awareness and Reputation Survey (NPARS) for 2025 showed that 31% of Filipino adults are aware of the PDIC as the government institution safeguarding their bank deposits. This marks a significant improvement from the 18% level of public awareness in 2024. The upward trend reflects the PDIC’s sustained efforts to educate the public on deposit insurance and its vital role in strengthening trust and stability in the financial system.
