With hearts united in service and sincerity, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos Lanao, led by the Cultural Affairs Division, wholeheartedly extended its support and operational assistance during the conduct of the 2026 Special Shariโ€™ah Bar Examination.

What began as a responsibility soon became a shared mission carried by compassion, sacrifice, and genuine concern for every examinee who carried not only books and notes, but also dreams, prayers, and years of perseverance.

From the earliest hours of the morning until the close of each examination day, the employees, and personnel of NCMF Lanao stood together in service, assisting in coordination, logistical support, distribution of food and refreshments, welfare monitoring, and ensuring that examinees felt supported throughout their difficult journey. Despite exhaustion and the long hours of preparation, every effort was willingly offered with the belief that even the smallest act of assistance could ease the burden carried by the aspiring Shariโ€™ah lawyers and scholars.

The Cultural Affairs Division expresses its deepest and sincerest gratitude to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, under the leadership of the Honorable Governor Dr Mamintal A. Adiong Jr, for generously providing free lunches for the examinees and support teams. Their assistance became more than nourishment; it became a reminder that the province stands behind its learners, scholars, and future servants of the Muslim community. The warmth of that support was deeply felt by everyone present during the examinations.

Likewise, heartfelt appreciation is extended to the Local Government Unit of Marawi City for providing energy bars and Vitamin C supplements for the examinees. These simple yet meaningful provisions reflected care not only for the success of the examinees, but also for their health and strength during one of the most mentally and emotionally demanding moments of their lives.

The office of Honorable Member of Parliament Khalid M. Hadji Abdullah is also sincerely acknowledged for the generous provision of chocolate bars distributed during the examination operations. Such thoughtful gestures brought encouragement and uplifted the morale of the examinees and volunteers alike, especially during moments of fatigue and anxiety.

Most importantly, this accomplishment would not have been possible without the unwavering cooperation, sacrifice, and dedication of all NCMF Lanao employees: Norhanie Mamadra, Sahlah G**o, Jamerah Lalanto, Bolawan Baunto, Sahera Pagariongan, Samia Masiding, Lalano-on Dimakuta, PD Kharima Dianalan, Mauyag D. Dimakuta, Rohaymah Dimal, Jaromir Achmad Pacasum, and Rayhan Macapado Jr. who volunteered their time, energy, patience, and effort throughout the duration of the bar operations. Many rendered service beyond office hours, sacrificing personal rest and family time simply to ensure that the examinees would feel supported and cared for. Their silent acts of service reflected the true spirit of brotherhood, public service, and commitment to the welfare of the Bangsamoro community.

The 2026 Special Shariโ€™ah Bar Examination became more than an academic undertaking. It became a reflection of unity, cooperation, and collective hope โ€” proving that when institutions, leaders, and communities come together with sincere intentions, every burden becomes lighter and every dream becomes closer to reality.

Most importantly, the success of the review program was deeply shaped by the generosity and sacrifice of all lecturers, judges, legal practitioners, professors, and resource persons who willingly shared not only their knowledge and expertise, but also their time despite demanding professional responsibilities. Their lectures went beyond academic instruction; they became sources of motivation, mentorship, and inspiration to aspiring members of the Shariโ€™ah legal profession.

The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Office, headed by Acting Regional Director Atty. Gapor G. Quituar, SCL, MAIS, and facilitated by Cultural Affairs Division Chief Annabelle T. Macarimpas, successfully conducted its 2026 Shariโ€™ah Bar Operations to support regional examinees on May 24 and 27, 2026, at the Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School campus in Davao City.

The initiative opened with virtual "Last Minute Tips" review sessions via Zoom, organized in partnership with the IQRA Shariโ€™ah Bar Review Center Institute, Inc. The first session, held on May 23, 2026, featured lectures on Persons, Family Relations, and Property by Atty. Zeny-Linda S. Nandu, SCL, and Jurisprudence and Customary Laws by Rohanisah M. Taha-Basa, JD, LPT, SCL, MAIS. The second session on May 26, 2026, covered Procedure in the Shariโ€™ah Courts by Atty. Fahmie M. Otical, SCL, PhD, DPA, MAIS, MAED, and Succession, again led by Rohanisah M. Taha-Basa. These briefings effectively equipped candidates with essential legal doctrines right before their exam dates.

The on-site operations team, comprising Chief Annabelle T. Macarimpas, Atty. Momina T. Abdul-Mumbas, Johana M. Hadji Yassin, Mosmar C. Mamad, and Roslainie T. Ali, was mobilized at the campus during the examination days. To ease the physical demands on the candidates, NCMF-SOCCSKSARGEN provided complimentary lunch packs on both test days. Logistics were further bolstered on the first day when the Mindanao State University-Maguindanao Master of Arts in Islamic Studies Society, Inc. (MMMS), in collaboration with the Shariโ€™ah Public Assistance Office (SPAO)-BARMM, distributed essential bar kits. On the final day, the Philippine Integrated Shariโ€™ah Lawyers, Inc. (PISL) generously provided dinner for the examinees.

The entire initiative concluded with a traditional salubong at the campus gates, where families, friends, different organizations, and NCMF staff warmly welcomed the examinees upon completing their exams. This collaborative effort successfully minimized logistical burdens, boosted morale, and demonstrated strong institutional solidarity.

NCMF-SOCCSKSARGEN extends its deepest gratitude to NCMF Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim for his guidance, and to the Supreme Court of the Philippines and Associate Justice Henry Jean Paul B. Inting as Chairperson of the 2026 Shariโ€™ah Bar Examinations, for making this milestone possible.

Special appreciation is also given to the Mindanao State University-Maguindanao Master of Arts in Islamic Studies Society, Inc. (MMMS) led by President Usaimen Usman, and the Philippine Integrated Shariโ€™ah Lawyers, Inc. (PISL) led by National President Suharto I. Ibay, for their vital support and generosity toward the examinees.

Finally, we commend the Safety and Security Cluster, under the supervision of the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO)- Davao City, for ensuring a secure, orderly, and peaceful environment for all candidates and personnel throughout the examination period.
