Still riding the high from Philippine Law Debate Championship (PLDC) 2026! 💛

Held on January 15–17, 2026 at San Beda University, Mendiola, our team showed up with courage, grit, and heart. Once again, you proved what it means to represent ULDMS with brilliance and pride.

We are incredibly proud of our debaters, Aubrey Jestine T. Matitu (3A), Krislen Gaile Bismonte (3A), and Charlotte Reyes (1H), who stepped up as our Reserved Team for the Open Category and still made history by becoming the first-ever Champions of the Mendiola Cup Category. 🥇

On top of that, the team also brought home individual oral speaker awards, a true testament to their excellence, preparation, and relentless drive.

Thank you for representing the organization despite all the odds in training. You fought with discipline, confidence, and heart, and we could not be prouder. This win belongs to every late night, every rewrite, every practice round, and every moment you chose to push forward.

The UST Law Debate and Moot Society (ULDMS) proudly concludes its participation in this year’s SEARR, held at the UP College of Law, UP Diliman from January 15–17, 2026.

We are beyond proud of our mooters—Jean Aina Sta. Ana (2C), Eileen Jayne Abustan (2E), and Claire Sofia Pascual (2C)—for representing UST with grit, heart, and brilliance.

This journey would not have been possible without the dedication of our administrators—Gabrielle Ira Tirol (2C), Edwin Tatel III (2C), Brian Santos (2E), and Eugene Tristan Pedro (2C)—who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to our coaches, Excelcis Bernal (3E) and Atty. Marc Gabriel Abella, for guiding and inspiring the team throughout this run.

The UST Law Debate and Moot Society (ULDMS) proudly concludes its participation in the recent Movement Against Disinformation (MAD) x Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Debate Cup, emerging as Quarterfinalists and Semifinalists.

The tournament was held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University – College of Law in Makati City last November 16, 2025 (Sunday), with the Quarterfinals and Semifinals conducted on November 22, 2025 (Saturday).

For the Quarterfinalists, the team was composed of Alessandra Pauline J. Caballero (1C), Patrick Ryan R. Ramiento (3E), and Francis Pollox G. Agaloos (1AA), who delivered an impressive performance throughout the preliminary rounds leading to their break.

As for our Semifinalists, the contingent was composed of Aubrey Jestine T. Matitu (3A), Krislen Gaile G. Bismonte (3A), and Charlotte Marie Nicole D. Reyes (1H), who showcased remarkable determination and excellence in advancing to the semifinal round.

The teams were also supported by their outstanding Researchers, Patricia Mae O. Rebong (3A) and Emmanuel Jose O. Collado (4C), whose work significantly contributed to the strength of the arguments presented.

These achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering guidance of the Coaching Staff, led by Joelle Joie B. Cruz (Head Coach), alongside Ian Ralph C. Uytico (Assistant Coach), Exelcis D. Bernal, Sophia Marionne S. Salonga, Atty. Marc Gabriel Abella, and John Anndrew S. Tenecio, all of whom devoted their time, effort, and expertise to prepare the teams.

This is only the beginning of a long road toward brilliance, a promising start that reflects the hard work, grit, and talent of our competitors. The organization is immensely proud of each one of you. As we move forward, may this momentum continue to inspire excellence in every step we take. 💛
