Under the guidance of FCINSP DARREN P BACLEA-AN, City Fire Marshal of Tacloban City Fire Station, SFO1 Lorlee Imee N Daiz, C, Community Relations Unit, attended the Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela Stakeholdersβ Convergence held at the 3rd Floor, Ritz Tower, Tacloban City.
During the activity, SFO1 Daiz reaffirmed the commitment of the Tacloban City Fire Station to support the Department of Education (DepEd) in ensuring a safe and secure return to school for learners. She highlighted the stationβs continuing assistance through the conduct of school inspections, fire safety assessments, and fire safety awareness initiatives to help provide a safer learning environment for students, teachers, and school personnel.
The activity strengthened collaboration among stakeholders in preparation for the opening of classes and the successful implementation of Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela programs.

Personnel of the Tacloban City Fire Station, alongside personnel from the Regional Office, came together at the Apparatus Area to participate in the First Wednesday Mass, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Kelvin Joy Apurillo.
The religious gathering served as a meaningful occasion for prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving, allowing personnel to strengthen their faith while fostering camaraderie, unity, and spiritual renewal. Tacloban City Fire Station, under the leadership of City Fire Marshal FCINSP DARREN P. BACLEA-AN, duly represented by SFO2 Charito R Ercilla, Chief Public Information Unit together with SFO1 Rodevic Sipaco, Chief EMS, participated in the Opening Ceremony of the National Information and Communications Technology (NICT) Month 2026 organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Regional Office VIII.
The activity commenced with a Holy Mass, followed by a motorcade and the formal opening program held at the Leyte Normal University Research, Innovation, Extension, and Internationalization Center in Palo, Leyte.
