Bohol District Jail- Female Dormitory

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: SJO2 Maria Jessa Joy B Torreon, Acting Warden, attended the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Opening Ceremony of Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School – Senior High School (DCPNHS-SHS), led by School Principal Mr. Jenelou John F. Israel.

The opening ceremony was attended by various stakeholders, partner agencies, community leaders, parents, students, and volunteers, who collectively contributed to the preparation and readiness of the school for the upcoming academic year.

𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | “𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻: 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝘆𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻”

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Bohol District Jail – Female Dormitory personnel headed by SJO2 Maria Jessa Joy B Torreon, Acting Warden, participated in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School – Senior High School (DCPNHS-SHS) Campus, Cabawan District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, in support of the Department of Education’s initiative to prepare schools for the opening of classes.

As part of the activity, BDJFD personnel rendered voluntary service by cleaning and maintaining the school premises, including grass-cutting and clearing the school grounds. In addition, this unit donated cleaning materials, particularly rugs, to support the school’s efforts in maintaining a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for students and personnel.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Bohol District Jail – Female Dormitory conducted its weekly Values Restoration Program for personnel, fostering spiritual growth, inner reflection, and a deeper sense of purpose in both life and work.

JO3 Nadia J Geyrozaga led the discussion on the topic “Prayerfulness,” emphasizing the importance of strengthening one’s faith through constant prayer, trust in God, and maintaining a prayerful heart amidst daily responsibilities and challenges.

Bohol District Jail- Female Dormitory, headed by SJO2 Maria Jessa Joy B Torreon, Acting Warden, extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Isabel Bayron and Mr. Alexander for generously donating food (snacks and chicken inasal) for our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Your presence and act of kindness brought joy and comfort to our PDL. Thank you also for sharing meaningful words of encouragement and offering prayers, which provided hope, strength, and inspiration to everyone inside the facility.

We sincerely thank you for your generosity, time, and continued support for the welfare and rehabilitation of our PDL.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Bohol District Jail – Female Dormitory, under the leadership of SJO2 Maria Jessa Joy B Torreon, Acting Warden, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Bohol, conducted the DOLE Emergency Employment Program Orientation and Profiling Activity for the former Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of Bohol District Jail – Male and Female Dormitories.

Eight (8) former female PDLs of this unit were granted ten (10)-day work employment under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program, which provides temporary employment opportunities and assistance as they reintegrate into society.

JO3 Janice B Pogoy, Unit Chief of Welfare and Development, together with the unit personnel of BDJ – Male and Female Dormitories facilitated the orientation for the former PDLs.

Through this program, the former PDLs are provided with opportunities to work, earn temporary income, and rebuild their lives as productive members of the community.

Nakikiisa ang Bureau of Jail Management and Penology sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha, isang banal na okasyon na sumasalamin sa pananampalataya, sakripisyo, at pagsunod sa kalooban ng Diyos.

Sa paggunita ng mahalagang pagdiriwang na ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng BJMP ang pagkakaisa, respeto sa lahat ng pananampalataya, at kapayapaan sa ating mga komunidad.

Nawa’y maging mapayapa at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha para sa lahat. 🌙

The activity provides an opportunity for partner agencies and institutions to share insights and recommendations in strengthening the internship program and supporting the professional growth of student interns.
