Pada 15–18 Mei 2026, KBRI Islamabad telah menyelenggarakan kegiatan Warung Konsuler dan Sosialisasi di Multan, Punjab Selatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi Warga Negara Indonesia beserta keluarga dalam proses perpanjangan paspor dan pelayanan administrasi.
Kegiatan ini juga menghadirkan presentasi informatif mengenai isu kekonsuleran dan perlindungan WNI, seperti ketentuan kewarganegaraan ganda anak, situasi keamanan terkini, serta edukasi terkait tren disinformasi.
Selain itu, agenda kegiatan juga mencakup program capacity building pembuatan kerupuk untuk kemandirian ekonomi WNI, serta kunjungan bisnis ke Yahar Group factory.

On 15–18 May 2026, the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad conducted a Consular Outreach and Socialization program in Multan, South Punjab. The program aimed to facilitate Indonesian nationals and their families in passport renewal as well as administrative services.
The program also featured informative presentations on consular and protection matters, such as dual-citizenship regulations for children, security updates, and education regarding disinformation trends.
Furthermore, a capacity-building program on cracker making for the economic empowerment of Indonesian nationals, and a business visit to the Yahar Group factory to strengthen trade cooperation were listed on the program.

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah SWT, the Online Internship Program (OIP) 2026 organized from 4–18 May 2026 has been successfully concluded.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad extends its sincere appreciation to all ACI members, distinguished speakers, and The University of the Punjab, especially the students whose remarkable enthusiasm and active participation contributed greatly to the success of this program.
Through this initiative, we hope the participants have gained broader insights into ASEAN and its growing relevance in the region. More importantly, we hope this program will further strengthen the friendship, mutual understanding, and people-to-people connection between ASEAN and Pakistan.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this meaningful journey and collaboration.

Pada 23 Mei 2026, KBRI Islamabad secara resmi telah menutup Online Internship Program (OIP) ke-5 yang dirangkaikan dengan kegiatan "ASEAN Village". Program unggulan di bawah keketuaan Indonesia pada ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) ini dilaksanakan bekerja sama dengan the University of the Punjab guna memperkuat kerja sama hubungan antar-masyarakat ( people-to-people contact) antara ASEAN dan Pakistan, utamanya di sektor pendidikan.
Rangkaian OIP yang berlangsung secara daring pada 4–18 Mei 2026 tersebut membahas berbagai isu strategis seperti demokrasi, hak asasi manusia, ekonomi, dan perubahan iklim dengan menghadirkan para Duta Besar negara anggota ACI dan para pakar lainnya.

On 23 May 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Islamabad officially concluded the 5th Online Internship Program (OIP) 2026, held in conjunction with the "ASEAN Village" cultural event. As a flagship program aligned with Indonesia's chairship of the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI), this year's OIP was organized in collaboration with the University of the Punjab to strengthen people-to-people contacts between ASEAN and Pakistan, particularly through education.
The online internship sessions, held from 4 to 18 May 2026, focused on strategic issues including democracy, human rights, economy, and climate change, featuring Ambassadors of ACI member states and several experts as speakers.

Pada 19 Mei 2026, Duta Besar Chandra W. Sukotjo telah menerima Pendiri/Ketua Imtiaz Super Market, Imtiaz Hussain Abbasi. Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Duta Besar menyampaikan ucapan selamat atas pembukaan gerai mega yang baru dan mengapresiasi minat berkelanjutan Imtiaz Group terhadap produk-produk Indonesia.

On 19 May 2026, Ambassador Chandra W. Sukotjo received Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Abbasi, Founder/Chairman of Imtiaz Super Market. During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed congratulations on the opening of the new mega store and appreciated Imtiaz Group’s continued interest in Indonesian products.
Mr. Abbasi highlighted the import of various Indonesian products by Imtiaz for its supermarket chain, which were well received in the Pakistani market due to their competitive prices, excellent quality, and wider product variety, making them popular among consumers.
Furthermore, both sides expressed hope to further strengthen Indonesia-Pakistan trade cooperation, including expanding the presence of more Indonesian products in Pakistan through Imtiaz Super Market.
