The Eritrean Cultural Festival opened today in Doha, blending official and cultural festivities. His Excellency Mr. Yusuf Idris Sayeg, Head of Organizational Affairs in the People's Front for Democracy and Justice, inaugurated the event, attended by prominent figures including Eritrea’s Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. His Excellency Ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, Ambassador of Eritrea and Head of the Diplomatic Corps in Qatar, received His Excellency Ambassador Faiz Majid Abu Rab, Ambassador of Palestine to Qatar, today in his office. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields. "The Eritrean community in Doha celebrated the 63rd anniversary of the armed struggle of the Eritrean people under the patronage of the Eritrean Embassy in Qatar. The event, held on August 31, 2024, at the Eritrean Cultural Center. The celebration was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, who gave a speech on the occasion, as well as members of the Eritrean diplomatic corps and Eritrean residents in Doha."

H.E Ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed, Eritrean Ambassador to Qatar & Dean of the diplomatic corp, met with Birgadier General Sheikh Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani, Assistant Director-General of Passports & Ports in Qatar, to discuss issues concerning the Eritrean community in Qatar.
They addressed challenges related to residence and employment and emphasized enhancing cooperation between the Eritrean embassy and Qatari authorities.

Mr. Osman saleh foreign minister of Eritrea, delivered a letter from President Isaias Afwerki to the Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of sultanate of oman today, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations. Discussions between Mr. Osman saleh and his majesty covered key regional and international issues, emphasizing mutual cooperation and shared goals for the future. The meeting marks a positive step towards strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries.

An important meeting was held between His Excellency Ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed and the youth leadership, focusing on the challenges and failures faced by youth activities in the previous period.
