Borderless360 gives the displaced and disenfranchised refugees equal access to quality education. Borderless360: Education beyond borders.

Building communities, bridging futures. We are a social enterprise working with refugees and the communities they live in. We want to reframe conversations around power, borders, and values that underpin our societies. We do this by giving the displaced and disenfranchised equal access to education. We support the right to quality education for all through a teaching approach that heals and connects different segments of communities. We believe that education is critical in developing new platforms that directly serve communities’ diverse range of needs in a much more positive and impactful way. This initiative will pilot a progressive new education model that focuses on whole child development. It makes a firm commitment towards inclusion and diversity by promoting access and scholarships for out-of-school refugee students and other disadvantaged members of the host communities. It will increase access to education for disadvantaged young people while growing positive relationships between refugees and host communities, helping to decrease xenophobia and misunderstanding as a critical step towards advancing progressive change. 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨360 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗: 𝘼 𝙆𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙠 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙙 -𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙯

This is part of an exercise to encourage participants to explore folk tales from their culture. Refugees leave their homelands and some are born in asylum. They cannot return home to connect with their culture and heritage. They are also often not accepted or integrated in their countries of asylum.

Caught in between cultures, we are trying to explore how we can learn more about their own heritage and at the same time, learn about the stories of others - finding solidarity, hope and mutual learning.

This time, one of our B360 participants shares the Kurdish folk story behind the story and celebration of Newroz, the Kurdish celebration of spring and new beginnings.

The legend tells of courage, resistance and the triumph of freedom over oppression. It also offers a glimpse into the traditions of Newroz, celebrated through bonfires, traditional music and dancing, colourful clothing, and gatherings with family and friends.

Through stories like these, we hope to bring cultures closer.

Borderless360 is offering an online RLA course for eligible refugee students aged 16–25. Classes are expected to begin in early December 2026 and will run from Monday–Friday, 7:30–9:30 PM Indochina Time.

“Nowhere Like Arakan” is a tender tribute to homeland, memory, and belonging. Through its mountains, rivers, villages, and endless green, the poem celebrates the enduring connection between the Rohingya people and the land they call home.

This is the second poem out of the 3 by Mayu Foyajul Islam, a Rohingya poet and author and the Founder and Executive Director of the Rohingya Lumina Network (RLN).

“If I Were a Bird” is a poem about freedom, love, displacement, and the enduring search for home. Through the metaphor and image of a bird crossing the world borders, the poet reflects on the journey to search for his identity, reconnect with his roots, and find a place where the heart can finally rest.

is a Rohingya poet and author and the Founder and Executive Director of the Rohingya Lumina Network (RLN), an organization committed to supporting and empowering the Rohingya community. He is deeply passionate about literature with a particular focus on the field of poetry.

He has dedicated his life to writing poetry that brings global attention to the plight of the Rohingya community. He is equally committed to inspiring Rohingya youth and future generations to embrace poetry as a means of expression and empowerment. His poems have appeared in numerous international anthologies, magazines, and literary platforms, earning him recognition as one of the leading young Rohingya poets in contemporary literature.

Mayu’s lifelong aspiration has been to serve as a poet and author representing the Rohingya community. At the age of 21, he co-authored “The Untold Memoirs of Arakan” with his friend Pro Sawyedul Amin. In 2023, he independently published his second book, “Resilient Rohingya: Rising from the Ashes.” In 2024, He published his third poetry book " Still I Rise: Wings of the Wounded".

Here, we present (with his kind permission) the first of 3 poems he has shared with our community.

Some memories cannot be reduced to a date. The events referred to in this poem took place in August, when the Rohingya were forced to flee their homes amid violence, separation, and loss. The poem is a reflection on the lives, families, and memories that cannot be forgotten. Please read it with respect and remembrance. Thank you.

"I have been living in Thailand since 2015, away from the place my family once called home.

I believe we carry a part of our home with us wherever we go, but we also carry the memories of the places we leave behind. We may find shelter and build new memories somewhere else, but sometimes, it never truly feels like ours. We know that one day, we may have to leave this place behind too, just as we did the last.

This painting represents that feeling - a tiny home surrounded by an endless ocean, holding so many memories while having no certainty of where it belongs next.

Perhaps home is something we carry within us, even when we no longer have a place to call our own."
