At Make The Change, these values sit at the very heart of what we do. We believe that small, mindful acts of kindness can create a massive wave of positive social impact in our communities.

💬 ”Shifting from ’them‘ to ’us‘ changes how we think, speak, and act.“
On 17th March, our Youth For Change cohort had the incredible privilege of hosting an inspiring guest speaker session with Peh Yin Yee, the Executive Director of Oogachaga. As a dedicated social worker and passionate advocate for inclusivity, Yin Yee brought an invaluable ”heart-first“ perspective to our workshop.
Her journey is a powerful masterclass in empathy, resilience, and true self-leadership. Her profound reflections on moving from an ”ally“ to feeling like an inseparable part of the collective completely reshaped how our young changemakers view community building and social impact. Yin Yee beautifully reminded us that while differences can sometimes separate us, we are ultimately united by the common ideals of respect and compassion.
A massive thank you to Yin Yee for her vulnerability and for inspiring the next generation of youth to lead with kindness! 🙌✨❤️🩹

🌱 ”The past doesn‘t define your future.“
Earlier this March, our Youth For Change cohort hosted an amazing guest speaker session with Goh Boon Siong, a dedicated social worker and youth-at-risk intervention specialist at YGOS.
Boon Siong’s journey is a masterclass in resilience. After failing his O-levels with 38 points, he refused to let a test score define his path. Instead, he found his calling in youth work, proving that you always have the power to rewrite your own chapters. His profound stories on the power of community, mentorship, and making time for others completely shifted how our young changemakers look at social impact.
A massive thank you to Boon Siong for sharing his heart, his authenticity, and inspiring the next generation to lead with empathy. 🙌✨
