Youth in Development (YIND) and Peace Corps Volunteer Leader Cassidy recently held an English leadership camp for her students in Chiang Rai Province.

Happy Friday! As the first week of school this term for most of our Volunteers comes to a close, we want to wish everyone good luck and happy learning!

This school break, Peace Corps Volunteers Amara and Lindsey organized a special program for local youth to build essential language and leadership skills.

A huge thank you to Amara and Lindsey for leading an exciting session exploring continents and countries around the world!

We believe in nurturing young minds to become confident, globally aware future leaders.

Peace Corps Volunteer Matthew joined a performance to honor Chao Pho Ma Hae Sak, dressed in beautiful Thai traditional costume.

He performed the ceremonial dance with grace and respect!🙏

Youth in Development Project – YinD Group138

✨ Support children and youth aged 9–15, and Local Youth Councils
✨ Build life skills and leadership among underserved youth
✨ Promote Thai–American cultural exchange
✨ Collaborate to strengthen local capacity over a 2-year partnership
📌 Participation is completely free of charge

Interested local government organizations are encouraged to

📨 Submit all required documents to Peace Corps Thailand as instructed

The Teacher Empowerment for Student Success Program is now accepting applications from primary schools or educational opportunity expansion schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) that are interested in hosting U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers, Cohort 138.

⭐️Volunteers will work on developing English language teaching skills for school personnel.
⭐️Thai–American cultural exchange in local communities for 2 years
⭐️Free of charge – no participation fees.

📌Schools interested in hosting a Volunteer are invited to scan the QR code to review the program handbook and download the application form.

Even on school break, Peace Corps Volunteer Malcolm showed up with a smile to teach English. His enthusiasm and contribution to his community inspire us all. Thank you, Malcolm!
