โœŠ๐ŸฝLabour Day 2026 โœŠ๐Ÿฝ

Today, we recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of workers who have helped shape our nation. Labour Day is a reminder of the struggles and achievements that secured better working conditions, fair wages, and workers' rights for generations.

This day also honours the legacy of Tubal Uriah Butler and the labour movement that paved the way for social and economic progress.

๐Ÿ“š Check out our online display and learn more about the history, significance, and impact of Labour Day on our society.

Throwback Thursday

๐Ÿ“ธ A piece of Trinidad and Tobago's labour history.

Pictured is the statue of Tubal Uriah "Buzz" Butler, located at the iconic Charlie King Junction in Fyzabad. This impressive monument was created by Mr Samuel Waldron of New Village, Point Fortin, to honour the man whose leadership helped shape the modern trade union movement in Trinidad and Tobago.

A lasting tribute to a national hero and the enduring spirit of the people. ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น

๐ŸŒธโœจ MINDFUL MONDAYS โœจ๐ŸŒธ

Peace begins the moment we choose to release what no longer serves our spirit. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’–
Let go of the need for perfection, constant control, and seeking approval from others. Allow yourself to breathe, grow, and flow gently through life. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Today, choose peace over pressureโ€ฆ
Healing over overthinkingโ€ฆ
And self-love over self-judgment. ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒฟ

May your week be filled with calm waters, beautiful moments, and a heart at peace. ๐ŸŒทโœจ
