It takes a village:

On June 10th, the Rochester Food Pantry teamed up with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County Master Gardener and 4 H programs to host a "Grow your own Tomato" event. Members of the 4H Teen Council prepared tomato seedlings and the Master Gardeners (two of whom are also FP volunteers) helped families transplant the seedlings into grow bags and learned how to tend their plants. The 4H Teen council has also actively supported our holiday basket programs in the past.

Next steps... moving to the Pantry, reconstructing and starting the final touches. Thanks again to Old Mine Carpentry Co. for guiding the construction and also to Williams Lumber in High Falls for all their donated materials. Can't thank them enough. And maybe soon the mystery will be revealed.
