We will be open today, Sunday, June 7, starting at 12 pm. Please note that the back portion of the zoo remains impassable. As a result, the tram ride will be shortened to 15 minutes instead of the usual 30, and you will not be able to see the bison, water buffalo, or Igor the camel.

To make up for the inconvenience, we are offering a discounted rate of $15 for everyone. There’s a good chance you will get muddy on the ride.

The Dickinson Bayou runs through the property and is currently full, which makes the route inaccessible. We are hoping conditions improve so we can reopen on Saturday.

We’re happy to report that all our animals are safe and accounted for, and we’ll soon be sharing news about two new additions. Unfortunately, due to significant flooding and debris, we will be closed for the time being. Our ponds are full, and the animals are doing well. We sincerely appreciate everyone who reached out to offer help and to check on the animals. For now, we’re managing, and we’ll keep you updated on our reopening plans. Thank you again for your support.
