🐾 Happy Animal Shelter Appreciation Week from the Alvin Animal Adoption Center! 🐾

This week, we want to shine a light on the incredible team, dedicated volunteers, and supportive community that keep our shelter running day in and day out. From our animal control officers, kennel techs, amazing volunteers, and to everyone who chooses to adopt, foster, or donate—Thank You for making a difference for the animals of Alvin. ❤️
Every day, our team works hard to provide safe shelter, medical care, and a second chance to pets in need until they find their "fur-ever" families

Here at the Alvin Animal Adoption Center, we witness miracles happen every single day when a neglected or homeless pet finally crosses paths with their person.

To celebrate this week, we want to flood our comments with AAAC Alumni! 🐾

Did you adopt your "fur-baby" from us? Drop a picture of them in the comments, tell us their name, and show everyone how wonderful shelter pets are!

Thank you to our incredible community for supporting our mission and helping us care for Alvin’s animals. 🏡❤️

🐶 Meet Muraco! 🐶

This sweet baby is ready to shake, shake, shake his way right into your home! 🕺🐾 Muraco is around 5–6 months old, and we have him listed as a Coonhound mix. He’s a sweet, playful boy who loves running around outside and making furry friends! 🐕💨

📍 Stop by Tuesday–Sunday, 10 AM–5 PM!

Bolo is a senior Bull Terrier who recently joined our shelter, and at around 11–11.5 years old, you’d never guess it by his energy! This boy still acts like he’s a toddler😆

Bolo is a very vocal guy who will happily tell you all about his day, and he’s not afraid to show off his personality! He did great meeting smaller-sized dogs, LOVES treats, and will even sit up on his hind legs and beg with his paws. 🥹 His other favorite hobby? Rolling around in the grass like there’s no tomorrow! 🌱😂

!! Please keep in mind even though he is a senior he is EXTREMELY vocal and energetic🙂 !!

We’d love to find Bolo a rescue or an experienced adopter who can give this sweet, silly senior the loving home he deserves. ❤️
