The House Republican Caucus is committed to serving as the voice in Annapolis for all Marylanders from Western Maryland, across our entire State, to the Eastern Shore whose views and interests should and must be considered in our increasingly out-of-touch legislature. Comprised of men and women from diverse backgrounds but united by common principles, the House Republican Caucus is committed to fighting for working families and small businesses, protecting our public safety and supporting our law enforcement officers in an increasingly dangerous environment, advocating against higher taxes and regulatory burdens that cripple our competitiveness, and standing up for every region of Maryland. Our members directly represent about 2 million Marylanders across the State, and successfully passed over 80 bills during the 2021 legislative session. Authority: Republican House Caucus Committee - James Appel, Treasurer

Opinion: Maryland’s new redistricting proposal is part of an unprincipled race to the bottom, writes House Minority Leader Jason Buckel.

On public safety, my rule is simple: support anything our law enforcement and correctional officers need that is of reason.

Our correctional facilities on the Shore are short on officers, and I've taken that straight to the Secretary of Corrections. Whatever it takes to keep them and us safe.
