Year 2 students perform skits from Sophocles' tragedy, Antigone in Ms Smith's English class. When students embody characters from a play, it deepens their understanding of the character's feelings and motivations!

Students utilize the Graduate Outcomes of Respectful Collaborators, Effective Communicators, and Engaged Citizens to craft their skit- then the class votes on the best performances, just like in Ancient Greece! The winners are honored with a wreath!

Students in Mr. Justen and Mr. Snyder’s 2nd Year Seminar course have spent the past few weeks researching careers that interest them. Today, students got the chance to show off the career they are most interested in and give an “elevator pitch” about why they chose it. Listeners also got in on the fun by asking questions, sharing their thoughts, and learning more about the different career options their classmates are excited about. It was a great way for students to practice talking about their futures while learning from each other!
