Serving adults age 55 & above by providing activities and services to nurture all aspects of life.

The Town of Ashland City invites and encourages people to discuss issues affecting the City on its social media sites, which serve as limited public forums to provide information to the public. However, the Town of Ashland City will only allow posts that are on topic with the post made by the Town. Further, the Town of Ashland City will not allow posts to remain that include:

• Nudity/pornography or messages/depictions with sexual, obscene, or indecent content.
• Language or information that is foul, vulgar, scurrilous, or scatological.
• Threats, attacks, harassment, unlawful discrimination, hate language or purely personal attacks.
• Advocation of illegal or inappropriate use of fi****ms or drugs, or any illegal activity.
• Depictions or promotions of animal cruelty
• Promotion or endorsement of a political campaign or candidate
• Programs and events not officially sponsored by the Town of Ashland City
• Solicitation for donations, except for official City-sponsored activities. The Town of Ashland City reserves the right to delete and or close a conversation if comments stray from the context of the original post or violate any of the above referenced restrictions. The Thrive 55+ Center is a recreational facility owned and operated by the Town of Ashland City. The mission of the Thrive 55+ Center Ashland City is to provide a welcoming environment for residents of Ashland City, Cheatham County, and surrounding communities who are fifty-five years of age or older that provides programs which promote lifelong learning, health and physical well-being, socialization, and emotional support.

🦃🍂 THRIVE 55+ THANKSGIVING LUNCH SIGN-UPS! 🍂🦃

We want to clear up a little confusion about signing up for our Thanksgiving Lunch!

📅 Sign-ups will begin NEXT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2!

✅ How to Sign Up:

* At the Center: Simply check in using our kiosk and let us know you’d like to attend the Thanksgiving Lunch. We will add your name to the list!
* By Phone: If you can’t make it into the Center to sign up but would like to attend, just give us a call, and we’ll be happy to add you to the list!

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT begin accepting sign-ups until Monday, November 2.

📅 Sign-ups will close Friday, November 13, OR when we reach our maximum number of attendees, whichever comes first.

🍂🎃 A Little Late Posting, But What a FUN Fall Festival Wednesday at Thrive 55+! 🎃🍁

We had such a great day filled with costumes, contests, delicious chili, shopping, laughter, and lots of fun!

Our costume contestants really showed up and showed out! 👻 Congratulations to our costume contest winner, Dennis, who came dressed as “Bo” 🏆, and to our pumpkin contest winner, Peggy!

Our Vendor Fair was a success, with lots of folks shopping and supporting our vendors! 🛍️ After all the festivities, many of our members stuck around for Dancercise, games, and more time visiting with friends.

❤️ That’s what Thrive is all about! Staying active, making friendships, sharing laughs, and enjoying life together!

Thank you to everyone who participated, shopped, brought the fun, and helped make our Fall Festival such an enjoyable day! 🍁🧡
